Is it because you're concerned that Katsuki and / or Fate aren't town?
Or you don't trust their judgement?
Or you don't trust them to rule with the will of the people?
Orrrrrrrr do you just not want to pick sides between them?

Like I have seen very little if any concern that the front runners could be scum
Now don't get me wrong, I'm fairly heavily town reading fate at the moment, and leaning town on Katsuki. Like, I know both can and have fooled me, but day 1 I'm not too worried yet.
But where Brian Skies was concerned people are buddying him, I'm definitely concerned that maybe people are buddying Fate, Kats, and myself. And it seems like self preservation. Kats and Fate, one of them is likely to be king, so maybe people are trying not to shift the gaze upon themselves. But they can't very well call them scum, right? Fate is pretty spot on and Fatelike today and Kats is a notoriously tough read for certain players, and it's doubtful either of them would shoot the other. So scum buddies them instead, hoping to subtly influence the king and stay out of his way. I guess I could be wrong. Hell, it's Day 1 and Day 1 is always kind of a toss up.
I just... The blind faith in both front runners, I have no doubt that from some players, it's not organic. I just haven't decided who those players are yet.Join me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

Why does it matter that I interrupted your questioning (even though I clearly didn't since he answered your question independent of me anyway)? In post 650, Skybird wrote:I already told you that you interupted that exchange and derailed it. As to your second question, my scum hunting methods are different from yours.
The point is that your question has literally no relevance to his alignment and any answer he gave you wouldn't tell you anything about whether he's scum or town. You may as well have asked him something generic like, "how do you decide whether something is scummy?" and then hummed and hawed at his totally-generic-and-not-indicative-of-alignment-at-all answer, for all that was worth.
What were you hoping to get out of it and what did you get out of it? Don't blame me for the non-answer, you asked a dumb question.
I've played with Nacho before in a few different games. I'm looking for some indication that he is town. His responses to others and to me do not look promising right now. So even though you think I asked a dumb question, I did get something out of it.
Hmm, thinking of a way to put this politely. Thinking, thinking. I've already told you that I have a different play style than you. You should remember that from the last time we were in a game together. I'm not a big fan of yours and I honestly don't care what you think about my play.-

Why Kuribo? I thought he's said that he didn't want to be king today.
@ Spiffeh, same question.-

I think you're confusing me thinking scum may be faking a townread on me for towncred with me thinking that I'm a high priority target for buddying, allying, etc, which isn't what I said.In post 707, kuribo wrote:But where Brian Skies was concerned people are buddying him, I'm definitely concerned that maybe people are buddying Fate, Kats, and myself.
Some people have scumread me. There are probably scum jumping onto the suspicion wagon and I've named the few that concern me (hiplop, Bro). It also wouldn't surprise me if at least one scum has taken a complete opposite read on me to avoid backlash in case I get executed today.-

I understand that he said he wasn't willing to take on the kingship but I don't think that hurts his chances of doing great things.
Camn, Axelrod, Kagami?

They certainly haven't done anything to establish their townness yet. Katsuki in particular hasn't done anything at all except ask to be the King. I gather he's getting votes because people have respect for him in general. Which, fine, but I do not have that yet. And I have zero reason to trust their judgement.
With you, I at least have a read (not that I am voting you yet, but I would over either of them atm).-

I was ignoring Hiplop early on because I know he sometimes looks like lynchbait. But him asking to be King when he hasn't done anything worthy of being voted King raises my eyebrows and I think he's probably worried he's going to be lynched. He hasn't really stated a strong case on scumreading anyone and I don't see him as a serious candidate of being voted King today (mostly because I don't think he's done anything particularly townish and there are many other players in this game who will be considered before he would). It feels like he's doing it specifically to avoid death.
I didn't like Bro's entrance. He discredited Kats and most of the basis I've seen from him is based on some outside feud that seems to only exist for Bro. His support for fate felt mostly like pandering. I also felt that I can kinda see why other people suspect me, whereas he's mostly latched onto the idea that I've only focused on setup theory, which isn't the case as I've been looking for people's mindsets regarding the current setup, jabbed at Camn's early reads, and pressed Kats for his preferred lynches early on. I don't know if he just views me as an easy lynch or was just glazing over my posts. I also haven't really seen anything in his posting to make me think he's town.-

Ugh I like this post even less than the one where you assume you're gonna die
Stop worrying about your neck and give us something to work with from the slot.
Are you caught up? Pretend I'm handing you a gun as of this post. Who would you shoot right now and why?

Like, your slot was flaked. Sucks but it happens.
Your posts go:
"Hi Kagami"
"I like Katsuki and how are you all on killing DGB"
"I'm gonna die"
Asking who someone would kill
"Well I might die"
You've come into the game with a fresh set of eyes and we need more from you than "well bandwagon" and "kill the other inactive"Join me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

you should assume that i've read every post for the most part. you should also assume that i have no idea who said what. everyone looks like a damn kuribo here.
if i had a gun, i'd probably shoot brian or dgb. dgb cause "reasons" and i just don't like brian at the moment.
as always, i'd proxy my vote to Kagamin.

Yeah I feel like have to address this b/c it's pretty terrible:In post 714, Brian Skies wrote:I didn't like Bro's entrance. 1) It wasn't a discredit - it's me being honest. I don't see a world where Katsuki doesn't shoot me first. If people are fine with that, they can vote for him.
2) My support for Fate has to do with who, as town, has the best relative reads day 1. Fate's really, really fucking good, especially early on.
3) I was the first person, IIRC, to bring up the "holy fuck he's literally only talked about setup theory." I've also only mentioned that at points where it was true. It's no longer true at this point.-

I have kind of come around to that position, as well.In post 648, Brian Skies wrote:I don't think Camn's suggested method would have worked because it's not like a King would stick to a decision for an entire day and it would make wagons chaotic.
@Kats-I have softened on Bri-Sky a little bit. That one post rang my bell pretty hard, but things have smoothed out a bit.
I could go this route. But I am also fine with Fate or Kats.In post 699, Nachomamma8 wrote:My heart and my brain stand united behind Kuribo king
I almost am more for Kats now... I know he has been pretty busy, and I know Day 1 sucks.. so I feel like it would be a very Katsuki-Instinct shot, which can go well. Plus it would force him to get a little more into the game, you know?
Anyone wanting to Day 1 lurker-kill DGB is crazy. Stone-cold, undeniably crazy. She gets a 1-day pass. Maybe your "reasons" are something else? idk.In post 719, SXTLHGaiden wrote:i'd probably shoot brian or dgb. dgb cause "reasons""if you weren't trying to be so unnecessarily mysterious all the time we wouldn't have these misunderstandings" - Yosarian2
