Is this serious? I considered doing the same thing (and announcing it post 1) but worried that multiple town might do this and waste a lot of cumulative town points. In post 13, House wrote:You guys can thank me for scum being deprived of strongman.
I spent all my points bidding on the role even though I'm town just to keep it out of scum hands.
I now see why imp didn't want strategy talk in the sign up forum.
I think knowing this information for fact will change night strategies. Maybe even day strategies.ShowTown 21-21-1

As a heart attack. I'm not the strongest scum hunter, so I look for other ways to benefit town when I'm pushed into this alignment. In post 103, I Am Innocent wrote:

Doesn't mean I'm not gonna hunt scum, but town wouldn't exactly lose an asset if they decided to lynch me to test my claim.-

Well it does not benefit town for me to confirm if I did this or not as well, so I'll stay silent on that front, but having this knowledge out there for town should at least strengthen confidence in the doc roles up to and including N1.ShowTown 21-21-1

Would be a safe day vig shot, but I see that claim as town so I'd rather the vig use that elsewhere...In post 105, House wrote:

Or did you not think of that?
It also removes a bunch of WIFOM for protective PRs who no longer have to worry about whether their intended target will in fact be protected.
It also makes one less person for protective roles to have to worry about protecting, increasing the odds they save somebody that matters.

Ok, let's move on to somethign more interesting house.
What do you think of Muffin's town read on you?
It may or may not change over the course of the game, just like any other.
In this instance, I think he took my claim at face value and recognized the service that my bid did for town because why would scum admit to bidding for a scum role and risk an instalynch?
Now I'm in the crosshairs of skeptics and overanalyzers, and that isn't something scum usually invites.

Muffin's play is vague town. It's the kind of thing I would do as town, anyway. Same with the strongman claim. Accepting meta that suggests these players are often cheeky scum to change that opinion, but townie book for now.
this is bad because I think even at this point in the game firebringer was obv town. He did then immediately jump to spiffeh which is a town hiplop thing to do. Interested in seeing where he goes from here because usually this is about the time he finds a good vote if he's town and continues futzing around if he's scum.
Is town UTL usually this inactive?
Lets see how this works out. VOTE: uptoolatetout comprendre c'est tout pardonner-

I don't really like this post or the one that follows it. The question I'm posing has nothing to do with personality, it has to do with making a post early in game which draws attention to yourself and can bring pressure, it's an approach to the game that typically I associate with town players (and certainly cheeky in this sense is more consistent with my own town play.) I don't really like how you took a relevant in game discussion and turned it into an in joke.In post 121, Cephrir wrote:
