That's a damn good question.
no it isn't and this is a bad post

tbh i probably would have responded to that question exactly like fire assassin did

Hahaha! Love you Fire!

Read up to this point, would vote House or Lady.

Continuing my read.

Why?
I dislike his logics and I agree that he may be scum who didn't get the Strongman, and is posing as town because of it.
ZZZX was my other option. But I know already that it wouldn't fly.
What happened to your Lady read between these two posts?

And... what do you think happens to House if someone else flips strongman?
House already implied he went all in on Strongman. So he has it or knows someone else also bid 100 and he has nothing. (Hence why I said House might be a good day vig shot, read withstanding).

I think knowing this information for fact will change night strategies. Maybe even day strategies.

Correct, but we don't know that this will happen.
Hi again, light!
Promise I won't be as much of a train wreck as I was in our last game
.

Anyway, we don't know that will happen, no, but what Ceph is saying is that it would be really stupid of scum to fake claim that when there are only one of those in the setup because as soon as the other flips, we're very likely to lynch him immediately after.
Why did you feel the need to include the underlined?

He already did it lol.
And yeah, I was thinking scum put 1 person to go 100% on Strongman. Am I being too presumptuous?
Nope, that was my thought as well. Which is why I considered a few strategies pregame, and one was similar to house which is "screw it, I'll try to block scum from getting Strongman by throwing all 100 points at it"

If scum went all in on Strongman, that would still leave them 300 points combined for other roles they wanted.
In post 171, Cephrir wrote:am i the only one who didn't think scum got to discuss their bids
Considering it was in both the sign up thread and Post 1 of this game, probably.
In post 172, Spiffeh wrote:House, hebichan, and Fire Assassin are all town
I have similar town reads so far. I'd add cephir and to a lesser degree, muffin and grey ice have made a few points I like.

The second part but considering it in context with the first part makes it worse. Looks like someone trying to deflect attention away from a partner whilst attempting to maintain plausible deniability if they flip scum (ie. along the lines of "well I said he would be a safe kill").
Or someone as town thinks "wow this guy considered the same strategy as me pregame (100 points on strongman, claim it very early in thread), so probably is town."

Man like this is so over the top I feel like you're trying to fake a town slip here.

In case of a tie for the highest amount spent, no one will receive that role.

After signups are complete, players will be sent their alignment.
After
they are sent alignment, players will have 48 hours to choose how they spend their points.
The mafia private topic will be open during this time so that the mafia can discuss and coordinate.
Yes, it's EXTREMELY explicit.

Anyway, let me take a look at Fire Assassin~
Why FA?

I see more of a fence sitting position, so he can transition his town read to a scum read if the town happens to go that direction.

I say that with a townread on House, though.
How in the world is this fencesitting??? I say I have a town read on him!!! Not a fan of this reaching...

I was thinking about this, and would it really be a bad idea? I mean, they take it out of town's hands, and not only that, they could cause a lot of WIFOM with it. Say she's scum, and neighborizes 4 (I think that's how many slots she said she had?) other scum. Town don't have the opportunity to scumhunt elsewhere, and then if she gets killed, we're forced to try to figure out who she would try to neighborize alignment wise. Would she neighborize her scumbuddies? If so, how many? I can see it more than likely making some people in the neighborhood townread on that alone, which would be fantastic for scum.
This

Feels

Fake

More reaching...all in the name of trying to keep the lynch pool higher/minimize universal town reads.

If this was scum's plan, use the neighborhoods to keep them away from town....why declare you won the neighborhoods in thread???

If UTL is scum, Heb is most definitely town.

Lady and UTL are both great lynch candidates to this point. I'll finish my catchup later.
