[1] Not hebichan, who I maintain is townytown. Not Kuribo, who could be scum, but UA's post was town. Presuming scumlynch, not pieguyn. Anyone else, really.

Also, since I had already asked implosion this, the Echo would go off regardless of if zMuffinMan was roleblocked, or if the Paranoid Vig failed.

it's easy to stop him from specifically targeting one person with it, but they would have if they wanted to prevent him from using it at all. he could have tried to shoot another one of his scum reads who wasn't ICE, and if he was mostly accurate on his other scum reads (which I'm like 99% sure he was to some extent), they would have had no other way of stopping it.

Ok but isn't it likely that scum could have easily protected almost all their members by targeting them all?

I think if he was roleblocked, it was for the self-doc, not the Paranoid Vig.

implosion, would the Echo go off regardless if the target attempted to use an ability but was roleblocked or it failed for other reasons?

now that you mention this, him being RB'ed to prevent him from using the self-doc makes a lot of sense.

I don't really know if scum would decide that the best way to play around zmuffin's vig shot would be to in essence blow a bunch of their abilities targeting each other. and actually, even outside of that, I think that what you're saying here would be a very compelling reason for blocking him even if they *weren't* worried about the vig shot at all. RB'ing him outright seems like it would be the much safer play, since that way, they can counter both of these roles without any complications.

Yes. From the clarifications section in the rules:

Echo: can copy anything except for the mafia kill, strongman and ninja. They will copy the action their target took even if that action fails.
