...and so, I descended into the heart of Yharnam, to discover the truth.

Deep within the warped woods of that encircle the city, my own hunt brought me to Brygenwerth, home of the scholars who started this entire mess. If answers were to be found, they would be housed in this abandoned college steeped above an auspicious lake. As I opened the doors, I steeled myself for what was to come.

No role information has flipped upon Reasonably Irrational being slain.

The college, once bustling with scholars and academics, was now only populated by mounds of research material, scattered notes, and monstrous abominations that stalk about mindlessly. I poured over the materials I found there, trying to find something worthwhile--but it all seemed like a madman's ravings. Discoveries in the ancient tombs lead to a meeting with the divine. A great schism led to the foundation of the Healing Church, all over how blood should be ministered. The Master of Brygenwerth knew the madness that blood would bring. After all, he'd seen what became of those ruined civilizations that Yharnam was built atop of. Willem pursued insight that would allow him to become more like the divine, but did it really afford him the perception he desired? Several texts were dedicated solely to the pursuit of lining the brain with eyes--I found myself wondering how literal the statement was. In another book I found an even more disturbing scrawl;

"When the red moon hangs low, the line between man and beast is blurred. And when the Great Ones descend, a womb will be blessed with a child."



As I left the place, it was made clear that I had been followed. An old, astute hunter had tracked me down to this place, axe in hand. He growled beneath his breath, "Not many left... You'll be a beast, soon, too." He stepped out from the shadows, fresh blood glistening on his church attire. Suddenly, he was upon me, axe in the air...



...and then he collapsed, the blood apparently from his own wounds. He muttered a barely comprehensible sentence, with words I could only understand because I had heard them long ago. In his final moment, it was as if he had a moment of lucidity and he had come all this way solely to impart the words onto me;

"Seek Paleblood to transcend the Hunt."

If there is ever no Master of the Hunt due to a tie in votes and lack of an incumbent, you will become the new Master of the Hunt. The discovery of blood made their dream of evolution a reality. If you ever have 2 or more Beasthood, you gain access to your BEAST FORM abilities. You may spend your Beasthood in order to gain Blood Echoes, at a rate of 1000 Echoes for 1 Beasthood. BEAST FORM : What’s that smell? The sweet blood... Oh, it sings to me. It's enough to make a man sick. You may vote up to four times for the same target. Indicate this with subsequent votes for the same target within one post. Seek Paleblood to transcend the Hunt. You are aligned with Yharnam , Home of Blood Ministration. In order to win the game, all threats to Yharnam must be slain. In order to win the game, at least one Yharnam-aligned player must be alive.
