She's experienced... tricky.

Then again, so is Varsoon.

Part of the reason why I hand-picked them. :D

I want to make a series of games where the best Mafia players on-site are invited. No joke.

Games will be a tad smaller in size, but way, way more complicated. Not the hard complicated, but subtle and nuanced complicated. The kind of complexity that's enjoyable. The kind that goes into a quality game. I want the quality to be like a brand that's so good it draws in players.

I've got a few ideas, but I think I'll make a prototype in Mini Theme first. Maybe even just Micro to see if there's opportunity for it to flourish as a Large.

I might try a large role madness at some point. The idea behind them is fun I think.

I would advise using the auto-VC. It's a godsend. Seriously.

Doing vote counts by hand gets such a bad rap, and I don't understand why. :(

I am mostly kidding, BTW. Doing them by hand in a reasonably-sized game is quite enjoyable, though.

Not necessarily. Seraphim's progression to hammer seemed quite natural, but it's not beyond him to fake that sort of thing well.

I'd guess that the people off-wagon who were online at the time are with DrippingGoofball, but I'm too lazy to check right now.

It's not hard, you just have to dedicate some time to it
Especially modding something like a Newbie or Mini Normal is very easy

Personally I find it as fun as playing.

The view alone is spectacular.

If you have the time it's fun. When it takes 30 minutes to count them all and then you miss one or someone doesn't use the right tags, it can get aggravating.

If short on time go with the auto.

I'm always scared when I do a lynch that someone unvoted or changed their vote somewhere and I missed it
With auto you wouldn't have that problem at least

Likewise. This is why I always check all of the votes on the lynching wagon individually before posting a flip (and even then double-checking the role distribution and role PM).

Better safe than sorry.

For your game, you got a point.

But for a mini, it should take about 5 or so minutes to do.

Though in this case, cookie's semi guilty on you and how you handled it largely gave you away. I'd say don't be afraid to ask for help/advice in scum chat when someone is hard-tunneling you in a way that suggests a guilty. Hard to avoid the rope regardless, but advice can sometimes make it go away or make people think "eh, keep it for another day" or the like.
In this case, the advice on the scum chat thread was "claim gunsmith, use this result"...

I think I could perhaps have turned it around if I hadn't then had to sleep.

...maybe.

Maybe not.
In post 468, SirCakez wrote:CCC you've just had bad luck with getting tunneled
Keep at it, you're a good player
Yeah, it's possible I'm reading too much into too few games, I guess.
In post 472, Wake1 wrote:It's the verbosity.

Try using brevity and instead ask short, pinpoint questions. Also short, critical observations.

This way you're posting way less yet appearing far more active and engaged.

Don't bring in all that math. If it rots my eyes as an observer, it'll rot my eyes as a player.

Moral of the story: you can say so much more by posting less.
Huh. Okay, I can see the point to this, but if I have to put on an act to look Townish when I am Town, then... well, that raises all sorts of questions.

...I'll take this under serious consideration. Thanks for the advice.

I find modding easier, and more enjoyable, than playing. am I weird?

I also always do all of my VCs manually, since the vote counter has an extreme tendency to misrecord votes in certain scenarios.
