Errrr KTS wagon* My bad. Given your use of the word "counterwagon" to describe it, your first question probably isn't relevant to the KTS wagon.In post 297, PantherPunt wrote:

From the narcoticcrab wagon, Kage is towniest imo.
Bella continued to display a bizarre lack of care about playing sensibly with her unannounced L-1 and lackluster explanation of standard procedure.
I had to check the OP to see who pantherpunt replaced. Now that I've done that, I still have no idea who he replaced.
I don't know what to make of a lot of this game and I've been relatively inattentive to it. Going to hopefully fix that the next couple of RL days.
Outside of kage, how do you read the others on the crab wagon (assume this was the counterwagon)?
And what makes kage towny iyo?
I'm townreading kage because it would have been both incredibly easy and rather beneficial for him if scum in his position to cut corners, so to speak. He was one of the more active players and he could have used that to his advantage, but he did things the old-fashioned way anyway.
That + I do have a bit of meta on him. I know that you do too.-

Honestly, I feel like DRK may be scum, therefore know I'm town, see me as active, and trying to buddy me to not press them. It just seemed as if the post was reaching out a bit to paint me as town. I wouldn't read me as anything but verysofttown, right now, since there as been little in the way of content that really matters.-

@Crab, what's up with you? Do you think that the problem is with you (no time, no interest in this game or something)? If so, you shouldn't have taken your request for replacement back. Or is there a problem with this game?-

@Xnad I understand, D1 was kinda shit.
@Bella I've given the thoughts I have. It's just not much. I can't even think where to go at this point since the game is so dead.
As Crab said early, this game is kinda screwed. I don't think it's an issue with him for Mafia. I think it's that this particular game is unfortunately not very good.
Let's try to change that.
@PantherPunt, that's your job-

I will at some point. this game has an abhorrently low post count and we have an L-1 wagon with no counter wagon. that's not goodIn post 313, kagesong wrote:Does anyone have anything NEW to add?-

one of my biggest issues was you saying "of those on the counterwagon, kage is town" which didn't seem to make inferential sense (like you somehow knew the alignment of the counterwagon, and were spewing crab as town)-

The hammer vote was just awful.
The last thing he said about KTS before the hammer was when he unvoted KTS in this post for being "possibly townie." He said nothing day 1 that indicated that he took any sort of look at any player other than KTS, despite waffling on whether KTS was even scummy and then came kind of out of nowhere for the hammer vote without getting a claim.
to fully clarify, calling crab scum then saying "of those on crab wagon, kage is towniest" made it sound like "despite being on crab wagon, kage is town" which didn't compute obviouslyIn post 289, DeathRowKitty wrote:Errrrr I need to learn to just post everything at once so I don't spam the thread like this heh.

I still think these two posts are scummy, objectively, in terms of tells I've come to learn. one being an over explanation of a vote that's for a very simple reason (in this case, the hammer) and that the ultimate reason (the hammer) is an extremely low-hanging-fruit option to pursue
following that post up with a shade on bella for a bizarrely careless and insensible L-1 vote (yet doesn't call it scummy) is just further surface level analysis of who voted where on a mislynch wagon. things that I find scum like to focus on. doesn't seem to be looking for motivation behind actions...
for instance: I find crab incredibly unlikely to be scum particularly due to the hammer vote without the claim. as I said before, scum like to over explain and explicitly justify their actions so as to cover their tracks so to speak. and I think scum would be incredibly unlikely to a) hammer in that situation b) give no reason for doing so at the time, and c) give no reason the next day when asked about it
it's kind of the "too scummy to be scum" concept (though it is misapplied alllll the time). but the premise is - despite something looking scummy from a surface level, scum would handle that situation differently so as not to attract the kind of heat they know such an action is bound to garner-
