Private, I'm not at all "surprised" or "hurt". I just don't think Majiffy legitimately thinks that asking people for thoughts and judging their reactions comes from a scum mindset. I don't buy that he thinks I'd try to bring life to the game simply because I'm scum. It doesn't at all feel like a genuine read and that's why I'm voting him.

As for saying I had "every opportunity" to read, lol. Nah. 16 hour work days (zero internet access at work), kickball league, poker league, golf tournament, and spending time with my family are all things that come before mafia and that's just in the last week. Like I said, I suck at doing so, but I'm quitting mafia. I just don't have time for it anymore or consider it fun.

I find it laughable that you consider my play "apathy". I feel like I've tried harder to do something in this game than just about anyone else since replacing in.

When it was YNGO it felt very strange, but this is what I expect from KMD replacing town tbh. Though speaking of replacements, where is Mist?

Majiffy is a bad wagon. I get he doesn't want to be here anymore, but that's a town slot. Scum wouldn't just say "fuck it, vote me." like that. He's been one of the people trying to make actual things happen this game. I'm not voting there.

I get the feeling that one of Majiffy or Kmd is scum, but no definite read yet. I don't see that as a town vs town. Also, I agree with xof that Majiffy asking to be voted doesn't seem like something scum would do. Still trying to get a read on kmd though.

Yeah, no, see this is what I meant with my reasoning of "too scummy to be scum" and how it doesn't apply to Majiffy. Had he not literally copy-pasta'd Radja's argument with Dragons D2, I would probably agree. However, because of the way Majiffy seems to be playing this game, I have to disagree and say that the fact that he's asking to be voted just makes him more scummy. Yeah, there's WIFOM and whatever, but look at Majiffy's play this game as a whole, and no, he's just scum.

I was really just wondering what someone else thought about Mist's creation of the dichotomy of Majiffy/Kmd. I didn't find it savoury, and I asked you because you hadn't spoken much recently. I get why you don't see it as town vs town. I don't see it though. I don't like people who label too much of TvT or TvS because it could be chaining up lynches.

I think both are town for what it's worth. Kmd came on the scene real well. And Majiffy seems genuine. I'm more worried about those that are lurking at the moment - also xofelf doesn't inspire town feelings in me. You know who inspires town feelings for me? Dragons. But they're also awesome guys, so it's just the cherry on top.

Yeah, I can see why labeling discussions as TvT or TvS etc could be problematic! I still haven't read through the entire game, so I don't really have a background of Majiffy or kmd as a whole. That's just from what I've seen of their posts during this day.

if you think the game sucks to play in, get the fuck out of it. replacements aren't hard to find for a large game that's still only at 40 pages.

if you mean the whiny 'waaah everyone in this game is awful but me' type of sucking, there's an equal amount of dead scum and town. the game is silly but we certainly aren't doing badly.

if you'd rather ACTUALLY play the game instead, you can give some strong town reads for when you're inevitably wrong about at least one of kmd/klick because there pretty clearly isn't enough content in the game to reliably lock down the scumteam yet.

Night was extended by close to a week as the mods searched for replacements. Ponder on that.
