Does Rod of Wonder even have charges? It doesn't say it does in the description anywhere, and the description of Rods says they usually don't have charges.

guys an efreeti bottle costs 145k GP so I have an idea
We sell all our stuff and buy one, then if we're lucky, we'll get the 10% chance of it granting us wishes and we just wish we had all our stuff back. Then, we use the other two wishes as needed.
Seems pretty good, right?

I made an edit so that instead of +4 WIS thing he gets +3 WIS, since he had an odd-number WIS.

FG has been heavily hinting that we're going to face a difficult encounter in DnD sitechat (For those who do not know, we have one! Ask FG for room name/PW. We talk a lot ) so I will prioritize combat-related items over others.
