I would have assumed either
Gust > Tornado > Ice Wall
resolution or Tornado trumping Gust entirely.

tornado does trump gust, that's what I meant by it. I'll fix that. The way I worded it isn't very clear.

channeling fire isn't too stupid though, you technically have better DPR if you just straight-up channel fire and spam Inferno. Of course, that's at the cost of versatility...

It also basically turns you into a glass cannon - i.e. a big target.
Nature's Wrath suffers the same problem; it gets even more DPR than Inferno, at the cost of making
