For those wondering the town lean on Char, it's mainly that he didn't join me on the Exp wagon which would have been easy for him to do as scum since he could have just claimed only scum cut RVS short rather than saying it was NAI.

Mine was also based on gut, but rather than using tone of posts I used logic.

Like I said earlier though early reads need something to start off with. I prefer to get as many gut slight town and gut slight scum reads as I can possibly get early on. These don't really have to be right or stay that way the whole game but they are what I use to build a platform and decide who I push early game.
That's basically what I did to Karnos in 646, while my argument on him being scum was fairly shaky I used it to push him on gut and sure enough he scum slipped. That's also what I tried to do with Epx just now, but I did not see his response as scummy and more likely to be from a townie than scum so I stopped his push there. I am aware not every scum and town are going to react on expected terms but it gives me a somewhat decent early read on them that goes off of a bit more than just a gut. It includes a bit of logic.

The Char read is a bit different though. If I had to rank the 2 slight town read Char would be closer to null than Exp. Though like I said him not pushing Exp right after I pushed Exp is just ever so slightly more of a town move than scum. As scum he could have missed my push on Exp, but mainly going off what I would have done if scum in his position I would have at least commented on the push I just made and put in a little bit more evidence to back up the point I had just made. And it's not like Char didn't have evidence to back up the point I just made, like I said he could have very easily added onto my argument with saying that Exp not doing RVS is more likely to be scum. Char didn't do that, so that makes me want to have him as slight town.
Hopefully that clears up the reason for putting him under slight town a bit. There is a method to my madness. While it may seam crazy to you that I would make slight town reads off of little evidence, it tends to work out for me, so that's how I prefer to do things.
