I don't think Char would actually reach as far as he is to appeal to the emotion of talking himself out of a lynch, as scum. I believe if he was actually scum, he'd do enough to stop the talking to deprive town of information.

I don't understand what you are talking about.
Because really either reason I can think you are trying to make doesn't make sense as if it's a scum claim to defend Map then why would you lynch me first if I'm scum only if Map is scum, and then if pointing out Char's AtE as scummy that doesn't make sense as it is scummy. Trans had literally done just that to trick me into not lynching him last game and it worked. He was begging to be lynched and doing it to get someone scum reading him lynched so really Char doing exactly that is very scummy.

What are you talking about? I've never seen Char mislynched before and I've played with him twice. Sure both times he was Doctor, but he was still CCed in one of them and not mislynched. You're pretty much making that up unless this is a really old meta.
