Well that was interesting to catchup on. I think I should be null based on my lack of content so far, but I guess I can see scumlean.

VOTE: algebra

Not liking what's happened since the replace out - and really rb on re-read. 269, based on the timing, seems like trying too hard to earn towncred. Same with 288. Not much content to go from, but this is my strongest read on anyone. Doubt he'd bus creeps this early, so creeps is probably town.

Because 269 is just newb nonsense - I would have insisted on a specific claim regardless, are you saying you wouldn't have and considered it pro-town?

The replace out is uncharacteristic, IMO, of rb. I don't necessarily attribute it to true frustration. 269 reads more than newb nonsense. He posted it a good 5 minutes - and thus would have seen - the hard claim. It stinks of scum trying to seem town. I do disagree on a hard claim at that point. It helps scum sort out the setup more than it does town. Should have waited until L-1.

I have *often* posted to the site and missed the new posts info, so it hardly seems shocking to me that someone else could do the same.
I will agree the claim shouldn't have happened *when* it did - but I absolutely disagree that it shouldn't have happened *how* it did. Doc/BP is the only claim allowed to muddle what it is in this setup if you are playing pro-town. Scum fake claims can't be allowed to soft around investigatives.

If the replace out is uncharacteristic - why does it become alignment telling for scum?

Rereading the thread because I had the oddest feeling I'm missing something underneath the surface, noticed a couple of things:
Hermie's reads haven't very much changed (the only read that has really changed is his read of me -- Null to slight town [the mention of me being mafia implies that the townread isn't strong], and I don't see his change of reasoning re: his read on PP)
Aside his tunnelling on rb/algebra (which isn't necessarily bad) and light pressure on Creeps, there's not very much in his iso

I'm actually curious if this just means "I'm curious about his intentions" though.

I have seen people fake-claim lots of roles. I don't trust people's claims anymore. Unless explicit evidence is proven

Generally if a specific person is jailed or affected by the role.

We don't know which role we have or collum. Due to this there may not be another jailor. But for this to be true we would need more claims. Thus is why you never trust an un'CCed charecter until proof Is given

This is explicitly wrong. We have EXACTLY ONE of jk/cop/tracker. So no cc = conf!town (a cop should debatably stay silent but a jk or tracker or doc should always cc)
