TS, shaka: are you ready to dance?

I gave up on the PBP look. Tried something different. Bandwagon examination (names have been changed to either current name or name when that player died)

The Skitzer random wagon (posts 1-75) ChocolateAttack, jester, herm
The Skruffs Wagon (post 50-250) HackerHuck, cicero, Gorgon, shaka!!, theopor_COD, jester, herm
The skitzer wagon: The sequel (post 325-400)cicero, pwayne66, herm, Theo, TS, SSF)
The HackerHuck Wagon (550-675)cicero, Gorgon, shaka!!, herm, TS)
The skitzer death rattlin' wagon (725-775)ChocolateAttack, cicero, Gorgon, Skruffs, herm, theopor_COD)

Number of bandwagons participated in:

TS- 2
Shaka- 2
hermit- 5
skruffs- 1
CA- 2
HH- 1
cicero- 4
pwayne66- 1
gorgon- 3 (for reference)

I don't know how significant or how accurate the data is (its all from Jordan's edits), but I expect to look into this more.

^^^also, did not go beyond post 775. I think there might be a couple of wagons of three that ought to be considered.

@Skruffs: ready to dance? What do you mean?

@pwayne66: is your analysis supportive of Hermit as most likely scum? That's a single criterion, but perhaps Hermit deserves closer examination.
Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

It needs more analysis IMO. The order and timing of the entrance and exit of that wagon should be taken into account and I don't have that information yet. Hopefully by Monday...

I had already noted that Hemit entered and jumped on the TS wagon. Given my suspicions of his predecessor it was the easier move. Nothing definitive.

How are you defining bandwagon, Pwayne? anyone who votes someone who already has one vote?

How many people have voted third on a wagon more than once?

If any person has three or more votes on them at one time I call it a wagon.

This is something I intend to look into.

Several people, myself included, have already mentioned this. I can only assume that he was both absent-minded enough to vote for someone not in the game and not reading the thread closely enough to pick up our corrections. This is a prime example of one of those maneuvers that is so anti-town that it's a town tell; scum would be more careful. And before anyone says it, I think you find a careless townie mistake more often than you find a scum tricksy and ballsy enough to play the fool and hope somebody WIFOMs themselves.

I'm not sure why I put Guardian instead of Cicero. It does happen in games, I've done it as scum and town, I wouldn't really consider it to be a tell in either case. Just a big mistake. Cicero does remind me of Guardian a bit.

Pwayne, if you're not voting, why not?

If you are, who are you voting for?

Mod
Please fix the vote count to reflect Pwayne's vote status. Could you also switch away from Orange. It's kind of hard to read in MafSepia.

I'm not getting the TS wagon, so I guess I better reread the last few days.

Sorry about that, I'll fix both.

Given the mischaracterisations she has shown - for example the whole "you know you are town, I know I am town" debacle - please explain how you can "not get" people being suspicious of her. Especially when you were suspicious of her predecessor. Are you still suspicious of her predecessor or not? What changed? What did TS do that made you go from thinking white was not town to thinking TS IS town?

Dammit, hit Submit too fast. Anyway, Not that I think it's wrong (he's still neutral for me, so I'm not entirely opposed to it), but I'd like to see your reasoning.

More than anyone else, playing like he wants to survive. Avoiding making enemies that don't focus on him first. Basic OMGUS king. Not playing like he did in games where he was mafia with me. Makes promise of PbP and then decides not to do that. Instead does a bandwagon chart which is convenient given that no one wants to vote less than Pwayne. Lots of people think he's my mafia partner. I think we should see what's under his hood. If he IS mafia people can happily lynch me next because then we'll be down two mafioso. But I think he's the serial killer. Let's see if I'm right.

Going into the deadline I'd be more than happy parking my vote on Cicero or TS.
