Towncred is a thing scum have to care about, hard-defending your buddy is too obvious whereas defending the likely lynch, who you know will flip town, is a plausible scum motivation. And seems likely from an outsider perspective if the player in questions seems to have no reason for townreading a player/being against their lynch.

Point to the question I'm dodging.

I've heard of easy lynches before but the fact no one paused at all and said LLD could be town meant that scum were bussing and I didn't see a reason why scum would bus LLD so easily that's why I was sure scum were on the wagon why does that seem so far fetched an answer to you

The chainsaw defense, and what I perceived as a weak/inexplicable reason for it, were the scumtell. The towncred was the potential scum motivation. Looking for the scum motivation is a big part of my scumhunting.

I've played with scum!Creature before, and I don't think this is it. More gut than anything concrete, but that's how TRs usually are for me.

Boooooo horrible answer. I have a damn good scum record because of this. People townread me for various reasons and then as scum I do nothing to change those reasons. If all you have is gut and the player is being scummy and you have multiple mislynches it might be time for a gut recalibration check. Assume LLD is town and look at Creature's posts. Then repeat if LLD is scum. Then figure out what you think about him. We are too close to LYLO/MYLO for "gut".

And I said I'd do exactly that, but interacting with people here and now is my preferred way of getting reads, which is why I'm prioritizing that.

Why are my posts daunting? They are the same length as some of LeonShades so it obviously isn't length. They're loud sure but if you want a quiet game then don't play mafia. Is it because I'm opinionated and am forcing you to think and/or pretend to? Good.

They may be more or less the same length, but yours are more dense.

Which isn't a bad thing by any means, I'm just exhausted from school and life right now, so it's harder to digest.
