What happened to Carr and Mariota is sad. Both teams could have been in playoffs but I doubt either would have won it all. Raiders will likely lose to denver next week without Carr. So Raiders will play Houston in round one in what will be a QB display of futility on both sides of the field. As raiders have better defense and its playoffs, I think they'll win. But regardless of who it is, they lose to the patriots the week after that. Been saying it all year. NE vs PIT in AFC title game

That wasn't representative of the Chiefs in the same way that the Steelers are clearly better than their 34-3 loss to the Eagles a week earlier. Both were early season games that featured bad starts by the visiting team that left them in big holes that limited their options as they played better to some degree later in the game. Smashed might be a slight exaggeration, but play-off football, at Arrowhead (assuming they win the division, which with the Broncos playing for pride and the Raider starting MATT MCGLOIN), with KC being a better team? KC should win that game.

Only reason Houston made it over TEN was Mariota getting injured. My points at the start of this year about Brock flopping were completely valid. Jags should be able to fix their coaching problems next year. Tennessee will be back and better assuming Mariota recovers well. That division in general should be fun to watch next year. I think colts will wind up last there next year and hopefully that will smarten them up into fixing their GM and personnel problems.
The basketball like TD toss Poe made was epic. Given how risky that play was, now was the time to do it. Winning at home in a blowout before playoffs. Next time Poe is back their with the ball, he will be able to run easier since people will be looking for the pass. WIFOM can be used to their advantage in the playoffs which I think is better than saving the risk for later.
