remember that time this game when Andy got out big neon signs that said "UT IS MY BEST FRIEND LOOK HOW BEST FRIENDS WE ARE I CAN'T POSSIBLY BUDDY HIM ANY HARDER" and then pointed them at me

like, not even as a meta point, but if you think I'd sign off on my scumbuddy doing that you're just insulting me, bruh

Eh, Andy also defended you in the neighborhood when I said I wanted you lynched the next day. Scum was down to 3 really early on so I don't think it would be out of the ordinary for scum!Andy to try to protect his buddy when they were at such a disadvantage.

No I'm fucking not. I'm saying I see similarities in your play between these games. You may go "META BAD, UT SMASH" all you want but that doesn't mean I shouldn't look at fairly recent games with you as scum to see if I can find correlations.

Why aren't you pointing out that my Inspirational review is wrong also? You are just latching on DEFCON and ignoring that how you treated Andy is exactly how you treated Shotty.

Many reasons but the three that come to mind first--

Point 1: No way Toogeloo interacts with you like that
Point 2: Your reaction to Firebringer wagoning when he was close to death spoke to me as true and real like no other words did this game, that's not an exaggeration
Point 3: Remember the squad that was before it was just us two, with Creature. You know the point Wraith made, that one.

This is on top of a bunch of other things that convince me

I'm hoping it ultimately doesn't matter but ngl Maria's lack of a presence during LYLO is making me the slightest bit paranoid

Gun to my head - Errant. His ISO review was in my mind worse than UT's (from our Night 7 room if you want to peek back at it) and he has done nothing today that gives me any indication he's actually trying to game-solve. Now truth be told neither has UT and the fact that both of them can't find a scum suspect (other than both softballing some very weak suspicion at you) but don't want to lynch the other makes me feel that it is possible we are deciding between Scum and Scum and both are apathetic because they feel doomed by your plan.

I'm basically wanting to see their content and will give both over the weekend. We certainly don't need to rush LYLO IMO.

I've never been in a lylo as town besides 1 time when I was the one hammering so my head is going into major "what if mode"

MOD – I’ll be V/LA from noon today until Monday for my usual weekend duties.

As I said earlier – I am happy to give EP and UT the weekend to show actual scum reads with reasoning.

@Maria and Spiffeh

– Here’s where I stand. I don’t think both EP and UT are Town. That would require me to believe both of you are scum. Maybe one of you has played a tight scum game and gotten a Town read from me that isn’t warranted. But I’m willing to bet the game that both of you haven’t. So unless you believe that both myself and the other of you are scum I think it is important that we make an informed lynch today. That will give us another day to sort out paranoia if we lynch scum today. And frankly it may be an exercise in over-thinking that has the Dead Thread screaming “Just lynch either of them they are both scum!!!!”. But I’m asking you to re-look at both EP and UT and come to a conclusion on which looks like the better lynch today.

No, it isn’t.

You’ve already said you have no idea who scum is in your many, many AtE “Lynch me and lose the game” posts today. But you are apparently willing to just lynch anyone who isn’t you without even bothering to do any work to look to see if you think they are actually scum. And you keep alternating between these dueling narratives of “Scum deserves the win more” and “Don’t lynch me you lose lose lose” which don’t mesh together at all.

I don’t think that looks like Town player personally.

To clarify this a little more - I am having a hard time seeing UT who is leaning on "I know my loss loses the game" that hard when Town UT also has to know that a mislynch on another Town also immediately loses the game. Yet he's not even trying to sort anyone at all even though from hypo-Town perspective at least one of Spiffeh / Maria / myself has to be scum. And no, I don't count the momentary "I'll vote Spiffeh" as real suspicion since he basically afterwards says "Work with me if you want to win as Town".
