Yes this game is very scum sided.
First off, way too many scum powers:
1 strongman 2 shot Jailkeeper.
1 strongman 2 shot doctor

like the doctor is not needed, you don't need two strongmans.

Also two bodyguards is odd, and weak for the town.
2 shot doctor and 1 shot vigilante is alright.
But Hooker + 2 bgs (Which will basically claim and think the other is CCing them)

Also the use of "2x" can be a semi confirm with the way its typed out, I suggest modifying it to "2 shot" might seem semantic but it can change things.


Basically take out the strongmans or remove the jail keep and have just one scum be a strongman.
As far as town goes. I would definitely not go for this "2 bgs" thing your doing.

Then this game is closer to balance

also, I want to be sure we're not mistaking balance for swinginess - I like a good deal of swing and think this can get mistaken for bad balance at times

We try to reduce swing to give a reasonable game where both sides have a decent chance.

Your game as is unbalanced and swingy.

You can always try to go for the "Normalcy" route. Which is where we will not approve this on terms of balance, but instead just that it is a "Normal" game.

As far as that goes. I double checked and Compulsive is not a normal

Your hooker role, could still be put in place, but it and the Compulsive Bodyguard can't both be in the game.
Regardless if its Normalcy or Balance.

I can just change the hooker to roleblocker and leave the compulsive in place (thought hooker was equiv. to roleblocker so it didn't matter as the 1 "grey" permitted)

and I would love it to be approved for normalcy but not necessarily guaranteed balanced if that is acceptable

As far as specifics that would lead to this being not normal, ill take one more quick look.

Okay, you need to be more specific in the actual role pms what the players actions do. You just say the role and that they can use ability at night, but not what they do. You kind of have to spoon feed players what their abilities are.

Serial Killer should also have "2 shot Strongman" in front of it, not after it.

I really think town needs more than what your giving, or at least nerf the scum powers.

Okay also on your "results page"

None of these should be there.
You have zero investigations, so none of roles should give a result pm.

"You have jail keep successful" is not a normal thing.

The only times players get results is when they investigate a player with a investigative role.

You can't change the deadline as far as I know after its set for Day 1 in a normal game.

Id ask Nexus specifically on that, maybe it could be allowed.

Games tend to speed up after day 1 anyways, so i don't think it will be needed.

Okay bulletproofs need to go as Msmith said, those are non normal additions to those roles.
You can have one non normal role, but this will have to flip in its entirety if the role dies.

Compulsive is also a non normal modifier so that would have to go, I also don't see many BGs not act? (Some do because they think they are invaluable but thats another thing).

Strongman for town is also non normal I believe.

2x strongman role blocker is also non normal.
So is a strongman doctor.

1 shot Doctor
2 shot Strongman or 2 shot Roleblocker

I am going to take your final role the serial killer as your white list role here:
1 bulletproof 2x strongman Serial Killer.

Probably still scum sided a bit here. With Doctor being able to protect scum. Vigilante more likely to shoot town. Depends more on if strongman is given to scum or role blocker.

also, do I get to choose whether the strongman kill when meeting a BG ALSO kills the BG, or simply bypasses the BG? or is simply that the kill bypasses the BG?

kill bypasses bg. At least I am 90% sure thats how it works here.

I don't think it's ok for an SK to lack a BP in a game with 3 scum and a gated rb and a gated strongman and where town has a (gated) vig.
