You're in charge of policy, so sure. I do think that we should make it explicit that it's not approved for balance though. Hopefully players aren't really upset at us for allowing it to go through.

This will be a narrative-based, completely closed, 13p mini-normal. Coming soon to the normal queue.

There won't be lots of flavor, but there will be some.

This game will

NOT

be approved for balance,

only

for normalcy. It is swingy and potentially scum-sided based on that swing. My goal is to provide a game in which all players can have fun, and I believe I have done that.

I believe that making a game swingy forces the players to rely more on scum-hunting and less on roles and mechanical interactions.

@nexus - I think it makes sense to put multiple mini-normals open for signups now that the queue allows for completely closed or not - since HS's game is not completely closed, some people might be interested in joining it, or would just prefer one that is completely closed - give them options!?

Ideally I'll have a Mini Normal and a Large Normal in sign ups. Members of this site can't seem to follow straightforward instructions like /in for Large or /in for Mini. I'm not complicating things further.

I've noticed that!! I find it maddening!!! read the OPs, people!!! even in the newbie queue people are like "how do I do this?" READ!! THAT'S HOW!

I get frustrated on your behalf when I see people post ANYthing in the normal queue other than /in for game because you clearly don't want ANY clutter

but what just happened in the signups with keyen and twoface is another good reason to have multiple minis open for signups at once

I also think it's never a good strategy to "dumb down" to ppl's inability to follow simple instructions, and is better to challenge them to do better, even if it is makes this a little more messy/difficult

there's no room for improvement in people if you don't give them room to improve
