I hate how being useless and active lurking can be optimal because people generally want to lynch on something beyond null and with some information, and it's viable long term because people so many people are genuinely like that and if you get to lategame people don't really question it either

Same with lurking and flaking near deadline because wagoning someone v/la feels bad and unproductive and actually lynching a slot not present can kind of have issues

It's manageable with 1-2 people and maybe lurker-lynchs work there but you can't afford it for 3+ slots

Well. Normally I'd be fine with getting lynched as long as it would help cast my posts in a better light, but I haven't really participated at all this game. To be completely honest I'd rather that I be lynched instead of someone actively posting but if it's at all possible I still wouldn't want town to die. I'd defend myself if I had any sort of idea who scum was, but I don't. This game just started at a bad time for me. Normally town getting lynched would at least provide some information but it doesn't seem like the case right now.

It's not really fair to town that a no lynch is going to happen because we have 2 people being replaced, 1 V/LA and 1 just not posting for 3+ days and needs a replace.
That leaves 5 players to lynch when you need 5 votes to actually lynch.

I think that the timer needs to be on hold until ASP / Shadow / Kop are all replaced.

So this game is in a rough state, people don't scumread much in the actives, but it's kind of late in the day to do anything about the other slots. If it's not too much it'd be a big help if you read or even skimmed fast, hopefully today, and maybe get involved before it's too late.

Right now I think I want gamma since he posts a fair bit but doesn't really scumhunt, so it reads more disinterest than being busy or not having time for the game which other people say is the case for them.

I get the feeling shaddowez is avoiding stances on important things and is being intentionally distant

Even this is more asking "why not others" than really a response to my vote or how he feels about what I said

I think a more distant mindset is more understandable considering where we are in the game (Day 1, 1 week until deadline). There's a difference between not wanting to make assumptions/commit to an idea and dodging questions/distancing yourself from specific topics/players though. Which one do you mean (or both)? The first one would be fine at this state of the game, but the second one would be something to be concerned about.

Before I say anything else, can someone explain the fake-hammer thing to me? Was the whole point of that only to gauge a reaction (and what about gamma's reaction do you guys find important to warrant any reads)? It seems to me that gamma was just feigning exaggerated outrage for the sake of expressing their annoyance over getting hammered so quickly, but some people seem to be making more out of it than just that. Maybe there's something that I'm missing?

I knew it was a fake hammer, even before Vedith mentioned it was. The whole thing just has gone round in circles with Gamma contradicting everything he was saying. Now I know it was mentioned by Vedith later in the game that he participates in a lot of games so most likely forgets everything that he's been saying, which would kinda point me into the direction that he may be town and is a mis lynch, because I know in general as scum you have to be careful in everything that your saying because lies is what gets you lynched. And in this case, the lies have built up, but I don't think it's a case of forgetting what he's been saying, I think it's a case now, that he's just back tracking and trying to get the attention of himself.

Right now, I think Gamma may be the best lynch. I'm not voting just there yet, I actually want to see his top 2 to lynch and what he has to say for himself.

Why Shadow? This is your very first mention of him.

I put the vote there under the illusion of what I've seen previously regarding the fake hammer coming mostly from scum, but recent posts, has just made me think I don't feel anything towards the vote, or that he could be scum. It could change, but right now I'm not feeling it.

As for your second point, it is my first time mentioning him, but his name popped up and I remembered he was still apart of this game. I ISO'd the slot and it looks like fluff to me. Lack of interest, no real points that tells me nothing, and comes off like fence sitting without wanting to commit to anything.
