Not necessarily. Leaving alive a town leader with shit reads benefits the scum greatly. However, protecting anybody besides the confirmed townie would be dumb as hell right now. At that point you're just trying to guess who scum will target, which is most likely to be wrong. Plus, even from what I know of Boons reads, which WM said his was close to, I agree with at least one of them (Sling). Scum don't know which read will be pushed and I doubt all of them are wrong. Given the fact that WM is not a possible target for tomorrow and everybody else is suspected by somebody, it's best to protect WM and make the mafia eliminate a mislynch target.

Fykus - He's obvious. He's flipping tonight with Boons shot so I'm not making a case.

If he flips scum:
Mulch - Mulch's dome on Vedith saved Fykus yesterday. The reasoning for his done is incredibly forced especially compared to Mulchs play style on day one. The whole thing feels like a disengenuous attempt to save his scum buddy indirectly. Fast forward to today, and his behavior is not what I would suspect from a townie who lead a shitty dome on another townie the night before. After being so adamant somebody would flip scum and being wrong, a townie would be a lot more doubtful of their reads, I know I was after Priscila flipped town. Mulch pulls the same "conf scum" confidence out to strong arm people into lynching me, and guess what, I'm town. Him repeating all of his mistakes from yesterday is not how a townie would react to this situation. If you look at his reasoning for me, it's incredibly forced - "meme manipulation" being a huge one. When I joke about flipping scum he overdoes a fake happy reaction to it, and overplays it to the point where he still pretends to believe I'll flip scum even when my posts have been making it obvious I won't.

Sling - Already scummy as hell for his lack of anything beyond a gutread yet saying people are "confscum" based on the gutread. Only gutreads people who are already popular targets. Has made no attempt to solve the game, but also gets really defensive when people scumread him and expects them to provide reasoning for it. Earlier in the game Fykus told Boon to shoot Pim/Vax over Gamma and Sling. Fukushima was pushing Gamma at the time, so this leads me to believe he said that to protect Sling. Sling has been doing a ton of distancing from Fykus lately since we've called him on it.

(Not confident here) Dunn - The whole playing dumb today about Vediths flip was just an attempt to not contribute imo. Dunn hasn't really provided anything to this game even before that, and has been a scumread of mine the whole game.

Other likely candidates: Gamma, Moz

If Fykus is town: (Much less confident about these)

Sling: Dudes still scummy

Moz: The townreads on both Priscilla and I seem forced. I can't see why somebody would town read both of us tbh. Then his read on me flipped on a dime for little reason. Me saying that Boon is a possible SK is not a valid reason to scumread somebody. Feels like a forced read to keep votes on me.

Dunn: Same as above.

Gamma: Mostly just POE at this point.
