The whole thing feels like a disengenuous attempt to save his scum buddy indirectly. Fast forward to today, and his behavior is not what I would suspect from a townie who lead a shitty dome on another townie the night before. After being so adamant somebody would flip scum and being wrong, a townie would be a lot more doubtful of their reads, I know I was after Priscila flipped town. Mulch pulls the same "conf scum" confidence out to strong arm people into lynching me, and guess what, I'm town. Him repeating all of his mistakes from yesterday is not how a townie would react to this situation. If you look at his reasoning for me, it's incredibly forced - "meme manipulation" being a huge one. Part of the reason is people like you and Dunn, who had good reads, just weren't putting the effort in. There's 2 sides to the town game 1) getting the reads right 2)convincing everyone else.

Nero was also somebody that I thought did a great job of blending in, but he did such a good job being neutral, that I thought if he didn't die on night 3 he was also probably scum because everybody else was either a lynch target or Boon, who was leading the town to its demise. I hated not being able to voice that read since I had no method of OC.

I was so close but off just enough to screw it up. If I'd been around one more day I think I could've figured most of it out (probably would've not suspected Nos though and would've suspected Fykus), but at the current state of the game I could only manage 2/4.

The vigilantes definitely made it swingy though, which is part of what got us. Agree though that the setup was townsided though.

I agree completely. I had a thought about it before I flipped, which was that you were so in the middle and off the radar that it made no sense for anybody else besides you or WhyMafia to be shot. And reading the neighbor thread, I feel 100% better about Priscila's game. I thought she was terrible town, but she had great reads in the neighborhood thread, she just put all of her reasoning there rather than in thread. In thread, I felt like she tried to hard to project confidence in her reads which made them feel fake to me, while in the neighborhood she expressed the doubt I expected to see from town.

Reading the neighborhood, I'm pretty sure Boon is just bullshitting about thinking he's SK. He was a townie with a ridiculous ego who kind of fucked everybody over with it imo. If I'm wrong Boon, I apologize, but that's just my read on the situation.
