If DH were town I'd probably have to look more on massive, who I haven't really looked much at, and schadd. I don't think DH town->auto Schaddscum or anything like that, the defense just felt more scum protecting town to me than town protecting X.

Schadd would probably be looked at just because I still have hardtown on CK/Ari and that means people I'm "eh" on become a lot more likely scum. Those Ari/CK reads aren't moving.

Before he got this job, he would've been been hanging out with his buddies at this time of day, drinking beer and getting into trouble. He never expected to get this job, and even when he did, he wasn't prepared for how long the hours would be, and how physically and mentally exhausting the work would be. Tarkus's life had almost completely changed when he'd gotten the job, and he wasn't sure if it was a change for the better. On one hand, he was having less fun and seeing less and less of his buddies. On the other hand, he was getting into less trouble, he wasn't waking up hungover all the time, he had more money to spend... Maybe this new lifestyle of his wasn't so bad.

While Tarkus is crossing a quiet intersection, he's forced to snap out of his thoughts by the headlights of an approaching car. The headlights are almost blinding. That car isn't going to stop...

Showbiz really isn't that bad, at least as far as massive was concerned. He was being paid good money for a job he enjoyed, and he got to be on TV every week. His co-workers were great, while massive himself was the most likable guy on set. Double Bind had become a popular show, and massive was starting to enjoy the benefits of fame. He was getting attention and admiration when he desired it, while still managing to blend into the crowd when he wanted privacy. He'd heard horror stories of creepy fans and stalkers, but massive hadn't experienced anything like that himself. All in all, life was good.

Tonight, massive was still at the studio, staying late to practice a particularly difficult scene that would be shot tomorrow. Some of his colleagues might be unnerved by the idea of staying alone at a large studio until late at night, but massive didn't care. He was a professional, and he wasn't scared of the dark. massive even managed to keep his concentration besides the occasional noise that sounded like footsteps. There were a ton of props at the set, there are bound to be some odd sounds here and there. He even kept practicing despite the feeling of being watched. It was just the dark, empty studio playing tricks with his mind.

No, what it took to break massive's concentration was the sight of a person-shaped blur charging out from the shadows...
