Jae accurately pointed out that the bringer of fire is a gambity player regardless of alignment. What would make it a scum gambit however would be Vexslayer

upholding

the lie rather than taking it back. If the claim were a town lie Vexslayer would say so. So it can't be a town lie. It can only be a scum lie or an outside factor forcing a failure in the busdrive but this is something that should it have happened via town would've been claimed. Thus, scum are holding back regardless.

Now.
Given three conftown.
And given us as town.

Your options are:
-This is not mylo and we have only two scum alive.
-OR, literally every player alive aside from the bringer of fire/vexslayer is scum. (Jared/YOU/the decider of games.)

So basically no matter what. It's scum.

Btw further explaining this: basically, The Bringer Of Fire told something which we know cannot be true. We know that Our Lovely Host received the item in question so we know that V's action went off as intended. As a result of this, the possibilities were:
-The bringer of fire lying as town
-The bringer of fire lying as scum
-The bringer of fire telling the truth but having his action fail thanks to a town external factor (e.g. redirector, roleblocker, jailkeeper, rolestopper, alien, with said roles causing the busdrive to not work)
-The bringer of fire telling the truth but having his action fail thanks to a scum external factor (e.g. redirector, roleblocker, jailkeeper, rolestopper, alien, causing the busdrive to not work).

Vexslayer has come in and maintained the claim. This eliminates possibility #1.
All players (save potentially the decider of games/shewrote) have seen the claim and not chimed in. This eliminates possibility #3.

The remaining options are that the bringer of fire--now Vexslayer--was scum...OR.

That the scum caused the failure and the bringer of fire is town.
For the bringer of fire to be town with scum causing the failure necessitates EITHER:
-A scumteam of 3 comprised of Jared/The OTHER RR/The decider of games (now Shewrote)...
-OR, for there to not be three scum alive with it being two of those three.

Basically from the perspective of The OTHER RR, the only way for The Bringer Of Fire (now Vexslayer) to not be confirmed scum is if there aren't three scum alive...and thus, for us to have a mislynch available. Because the options from The OTHER RR's perspective (if The OTHER RR were town) would be:
-The bringer of fire (now vexslayer) is scum lying
-The bringer of fire (now vexslayer) is town framed by a scumteam comprised of EXACTLY Jared/The decider of games (now Shewrote), making today not mylo and giving us an extra mislynch.

These are the only possibilities from The OTHER RR's town perspective. Regardless of which, The Bringer Of Fire/Vexslayer is a safe lynch for him if he were to be town.

Now granted there is the option of The Bringer Of Fire (now Vexslayer) being town framed by a scumteam comprised of Jared/The decider of games (now Shewrote)/The OTHER RR, but since I was talking to The OTHER RR in 1272, I excluded this possibility from my analysis there. Also it's pretty unlikely. Vexslayer is in hammering range. If Vexslayer were town with a Jared/OTHER RR/Shewrote scumteam, we'd have seen a scumteam hammer at this point and we haven't seen that.

The opposite, The OTHER RR is making every excuse to

avoid

hopping on the wagon which makes it pretty likely that they are scumbuddies.

I'm probably still not explaining this as optimally as I should but my partners can probably extrapolate from this to build it up further. <3

I was not saying you lied. I was saying that an attempt to give something to me would have gone to you because of the deflection/bus drive combo.

However, Varsity Bassoon has said that didn't happen since then so I don't know anymore.

All I know is that Vax's slot has been claiming bus driver all game, and it feels like a weird fakeclaim to make early game to me.

Explain how it's a guilty.
There could very well be a roleblocker or something similar on the scumteam. Based on having a consistent claim across all three players in the slot, it seems more likely to me that the action just failed than that they'd try to lie about something so easily disproven.

And like. If anyone were gonna lie about their role, it'd have been Growlithe. My guess is he didn't because of ayaR already telling the truth in the hood.
