nope :P

just went back and read the fight
Cool. I would have done so as well, but that would have required effort that I'm not interested in giving atm.

Desp, trying for a semantics argument does not help my read for you.
all I asked him was why is kagami town. hito has stated three times that kagami is an extremely strong townread and I don't understand how he got there already. there is a huge difference between cephs take on kagami and hitos and I think it's alignment indicative so I'm pushing it

like if hito had said that kagami is an old friend and he isn't an option today, that would be fine and I wouldn't have probed...but that isn't what he said.

He obviously meant that you picked a townread at random to pick away at, not that Kagami was chosen at random to be a townread or that the read is weak. Again, semantics arguments don't become you.

...

sorry we are playing mafia right? last I checked stating reads, being questioned on those reads, and then engaging in a dialogue on the read is how the game is played. "Why are you picking at this random townread" is a nonsensical question in the context of this game

there's no reason to assume that I randomly picked the kagami read of the three hard town reads that he's put forth so I'm not sure why he did or why you're now justifying his poor inference

I think jester-slot might actually be the highest probability of a hit, though I'm hesitant to pursue a slot that hasn't really posted much.

Bins remains juicy, to my mind, especially since I it likely comes with yummy grapes on a hit.

@Desp: I don't care if you're questioning Hito on a read. I very much care that your point of attack is based on the word "random". It means that you either didn't put much thought into deciphering what Hito meant by what he said, or that you just didn't care. And if it's the second, that means that this is coming from scum Desp and not town Desp.

I'm currently okay with like two of them.

Tomorrow will bring more information that hopefully will shape your opinions as well.

I don't think it's unreasonable for me to not be prepared to say ok we solved the game d1 let's chain 7 lynches.

Desp is right about the word "random" being out of place though. Desp has reasons and is displaying them to specify why in particular Kagami being townread by hito is circumspect. Hito should not be saying that it's a random townread that Desp is picking at.

So

Im going to hand it to you ginngie that's probably the most unique reason I've heard to scumread me

But here's a nice search of every time I've used the word "fake" in the game of Mafia
search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&keyw ... sf=msgonly

Hey look
7 pages
lots of town games. Pretty much 0 scum games.
If you want a good one. Look at Marked for Death where I tunnel LUV as town day 1. Why? Because he was trying way too hard to come across as town.

Because this is the typical argument I use to find scum. I look for people who look like scum trying to look like town. I have NO IDEA why you think this is a pattern. If you've ever played with me as town you'll know this argument is what I use in pretty much all my town games

So yeah, idk. Also "caught for the wrong reasons" scum is something I get caught for a lot as scum. Why wouldn't I use it to find scum?
