This was what you said about #282 at the time.

It's not the vote, it's the paranoia that bases it. That's hard to fake as scum if you don't know people are looking out for it. Cyanide is too new to see that as a towntell.

Otoh, I did not want to lynch RC, esspecially not on gut feeling which will always be off with him.

Thought I did. I didn't pay attention to the "this". Aside from the observation that I pushed the Metal wagon more actively yesterday and Elyse is pushing it more actively today I don't think there is much of a distinction between the Metal wagons of today and yesterday. I'm not mafia, I don't think Elyse is mafia, and I don't think either of us has "changed our tune" in response to consultation with scumbuddies overnight. Elyse is more active now that she has thoroughly reassessed the game post-Taly flip overnight; I sat around for a while at the start of the day because I wanted to see some things happen without my pushing them, and I figured I had the towncredit to do it.

Okay, so, catching up:

Wow, day one was....busy. The shot with no claim,a no lynch AND a mod kill? o.0
IL had a pretty odd day 1, but they weren't the only one: all three dead people were town, and they also had kinda terrible day 1s.


However, I've read through, and made some notes. Currently, my reads are:

Town:

Elyse: asking questions, moving things on, pursing reads.
Piss: Even though some of his posts are short and a bit...direct, they feel genuine

Neutral:
Boon: liked his entrance/his slot before, less certain as the days've gone on.
Eek: some good content, quite quiet though, is asking questions
Aqua: I'm totes 50/50 on this slot. Some elements I really like, some are odd: he seems quite aggressive when pushed, but has put some good cases together

Scum:
Myk: this is mostly gut, I don't like a lot of his pushes.
Metal: opinion seems divided on him, and I can tell why. Not sure what to make of this one.
Dude: not much content, can't get a handle on this slot.
Tool: seems to be doing a lot of active lurking. Don't like the continued push on Eek.

Which is not to say that he does not have a point. That line is a bizarre justification for a scumread.

I just think it's very interesting that Mykonian's first reaction is not to ask Bellaphant for elaboration on anything, nor is it to query the scumread Bellaphant has on him, but rather to "defend" Metal.

I don't agree with him and I think having a townread on someone based on one post in this huge game is weak. Am I satisfied? I guess not.

it's not even throwing crap in this case. It's a post with a couple of reads with short sentences accompanied.

Metal is under scum, it has the observation that bella doesn't understand how others aren't scumreading him, then she doesn't know what to make of him.

The only read of her own in there is the implied one that metal is obvious scum.

It's the one read I want to ask after, yes. The rest I get more or less even if I disagree.

So, it kind of seems like people are giving eektor a pass with the general reasoning of "Meh, his posting looks genuine to me at times."

I laid out my reasoning on eektor in #1179, with another point in #1334. Could people give me some reasoning as to why this doesn't look like scum to you, based on my points?
