Holy fuck. Just did an ISO of hiplop and he is as scummy as the sky is blue.

He is confirmed as either town JK or scum RB (or scum JK..) in 1036/1037. However, his ISO pings scum so hard on my radar it's not even funny. One of the interesting things I noticed was that he seems to treat reading and contributing to the games like a chore. See his comment about having to read another page in 169, and his over-reaction(?) to having his post disappear 105 when it took him 8 minutes to re-write it. Sure, it would be annoying, but it seems like he's writing it more in order to seem to be productive than for the sake of finding scum.

I don't know. As I've said before it's really the only thing that's bothered me. I mean now DLA is confscum so it doesn't really matter from my PoV, but all of his posts were about espresso. I think that maybe you or Slandaar were pushing someone that could be easy to mislynch and they went with that. I really don't know.

Also, who do you think was a better kill for DLA, Slandaar or me?

Theoretically, you. Slandaar was pretty confident in me scum (another thing that makes it strange he made it this far if I was scum, but that's WIFOM I know), but a Bob kill would have been weird for either one of us. For me, it would be stupid since Slandaar would probably push me, but if DLA killed you, it would make Slandaar think why he was still alive and then potentially make him switch. The NK was a tough choice, but the way things went down made it seem like Slandaar was dying (his posts at the end of the day especially), so I think your death could have been a huge red flag pointing to DLA.

What made you doubt your hiplop read here?

If I remember correctly I liked hiplop's play for much of the game until the roleclaiming fucked him over. Though to be fair he almost managed to play it off.

Also, Bob, look at that last paragraph in Elyse's post above. It's written by scum. Scum want to appear to be thinking in games like this, obviously. The difference between scum and town is that town think before they post, while scum have a tendency to show thought within a post in an attempt to come off as more townish. A pristine example is above: she answers your question in the most townish way possible, admitting that you would be the better kill for me, but then flipflops and by the end of the same paragraph comes to the opposite conclusion.

I grabbed Mykonian and went back to the classroom to see Elyse, Bob, and DarkLightA bloodied by the fight. There would be a later time to heal their wounds, but for now, it was time to end this. I pulled out the Magimence wand and sent a bolt of lightning at DarkLightA. He fell over instantly.

Phew, that was a close one. I had a lot of fun with this though. I got to be honest, I think the town could've played stronger than they did, but I'm also happy with my partners' games. I'm glad we got onto Candice early. Ironically, had Candice played weaker, he may have had more of a chance to use his powers. From the start of the game Candice was one of my worries. Thank for running this one, Sal. With the exception of that heavy-handedness at the end, I liked your style. I would advise adding links somewhere in your OP in future games just to make things a little more convenient for the players, but other than that I was pleased with the administrative side of the game. gg everyone.

the thing that struck me when I reread was that when DLA pushed RC for not realizing slandaar was scum from his POV, RC took forever to call him out on his hypocrisy

I figured RC probably knew that he was getting lynched at that point and that the tell would be "proven" so I took his reluctance to focus attention on the fact that DLA did the same thing as a way to protect the last member
