Space Monkey Mafia came close, but sadly did not make it.

In fairness, given that it appears one of the votes (the misspelled one, even) was edited in hours later by a clueless newbie who didn't realise there was a rule against editing, it was probably the right call. Otherwise yeah, it would be definite interference.

That's still terrible, though. Why would the admin jump in and change the course of a game like that? I mean, even if the mod had later decided that the lynch didn't count, if Cephrir claimed because he thought he was lynched when he wasn't, hey, that's part of the game.

For the second time this thread, the admin
was
the mod. The modding account was an alt the admin was using.
@Ergo: To be fair to him, though, he was from one of those 'detective' mafia sites, where you work out the scum through nightchoice results and clues left in the nightscenes by the mod. Baring that in mind, his crime is just not looking around very much, which is a much more forgivable crime than stupidity.
To be clear, I'm not saying anyone was stupid - it's just one of those things with newbies. The fact that that cop and doc were both dead by day 2 should serve as a strong enough lesson that he'll never do it again.

I was flicking through some old games the other day and found another game where this happened. I think it was actually a mini normal or mini theme. Looks like maybe mine wasn't the first after all.
