Page 1 lynch?

Have you ever experienced a lynch take place on Page 1 of a game? I find it unlikely that such a thing happens too often, but I actually remember a game on
Rome: Total War
Heaven where a beginner claimed, on Day 1 with no preceding night, to be the Cop, and that he'd investigated another poster. Naturally, he was lynched fairly quickly  .

Anyone else got stories to share?

You should probably delete the link to the ongoing game.

edit: That said I saw a legit page 2 lynch in STD's newbie game "Blender."

Page 1 lynches really benefit the Town. Anyone who doesn't push for a page 1 lynch is almost certainly scum.

Nope, unless you count Newbie 377, which was rigged. (StallingChamp and Midnight Sun were the same person.)

Yeah. I'd argue that the mod there was influencing his own game.

Page One lynches don't happen very often. I think we got pretty close in Space Monkeys Mafia, though.

I was shocked I didn't get lynched, honestly. That was really just plain silly.

The modding account was a gimmick for the Admin. He was the game mod.

Day 1 information is usually a big game deciding pool of info. Rushing day 1 therefore is very unlikely to help the town.

To a point... if day drags on too long, then it's better to just get on to playing the game. I've been in games where it was clear (to me) who was scum after protracted day 1 and I lost interest because there wasn't anything else to the game after that other than to convince the town to do what I wanted. That I have more problems with on Day 1.
