Special thanks for Almost50 for killing D&D. I was dreading finding the opportune moment to murder him, since I knew we would have to use numbing mist on him. Thanks to KC and Ranger who kept me sane in the scum PT. Thanks Varsoon for answering my hundreds of questions I asked over the course of the game.

I'm glad I managed to fool a few people this game. Another big mistake I made here was handling my flavor. The immense power of my role was balanced by the fact that anyone flavor diving would be likely to come to the conclusion that I was Amygdala, if they knew I controlled Patches. Amygdala is a horridly scummy claim and while I considered just biting the bullet and saying I am one of the Great Ones but aligned with town, I tried using my fakeclaim which just didn't work. There was some good justification for me being Willem (namely owning the Nightmare Frontier) which I should have used and didn't because I was just so flummoxed that Cerb had caught me at the last possible second.

This was a great setup. The issue was that certain players *cough Mixed6 and RI cough* became untouchable. To be honest I really wanted to get into this game mechanically because I felt that a group of players had taken over the game. I think the issue with power wasn't too bad outside of the Patches thing. I have to say my role seemed quite weak compared to others I think it's partly due to me hiding my augur for late game. I still had a good time. Pissed I let RI persuade me not to scumread Ranger and KC though.

I am still planning on designing a Shadowrun setup with Varsoona.

It will have items and roles which I love about Varsoon games but have a much different style. I need to get over this cold though first.

I'm still excited to put together that Shadowrun game.
Especially now that I've got so much more time in relation to Mafia.

This happens far too frequently. Even players that are viewed as wrong need to be able to speak. If that doesn't happen, you're going to have a dickens of a time unless the loud, untouchable players are right.

nah there are just two names there. Shinobi by request and someone else because he generally sucks as a human being. the person was not in this game and is completly informed. I can add people by request.

I think the single biggest problem with this setup was the multivoting. Pebbles and Blood Cocktails were only very conditionally useful counterplay. Combine that with the fact that my role was scum and could unilaterally lynch once I had the votes, the way these last few games panned out could only have been avoided if you killed me very quickly. Which you didn't; instead I amassed a lot of power.

Also never change how you handle flavour. Flavour that Is meaningful is one of the reasons theme games are awesome. A theme game that does bathing than just gives names is a waste of using the theme.

The "few players domineering over others" issue isn't unique to this game
It's an issue across any game that utilizes a lot of PTs and voting mechanics from what I've seen :/
