I've never seen one where the guy who counterclaims to quickhammer then retracts lives through two more days. It's effective as Town specifically because your survival doesn't matter.

If the flip is town it's pretty scummy but most people are okay with it if the flip is scum and it's retracted before actual town PR CCs (i.e. there's little "damage done"). You realize you're probably the most offended by that play right? Pretty safe to say it's tracker crumb that got me lynched.

I certainly hadn't gone back to notice the tracker result crumb. I think there were ways to win even with a Fred lynch, but you were drawing dead after the fake-claim thing. Just my 2c.

Ggs everyone. Sorry we didn't have any time to coordinate since I replaced in, Rask. Enjoyed my first time playing scum even if it was pretty short.

Rask didn't lose because of the fake CC at EoD. That play was fine. I knew based on my role that both Sob and Rask's claims were fake, and I viewed Rask's claim as NAI. Good town players make all kinds of plays at deadline to sacrifice themselves to save the PRs.

Rask lost due to being tracked N1. I don't think anything could have saved Rask's game after Sick flipped Tracker. At that point I knew I had been targeted N1 and I couldn't help but think back to reading Rask's thoughts about me in the scum thread of our last game.

The problem with perspective is, if x person finds something really scummy, they might see that was what sealed the deal, but in the overall grand scheme of things it's just 1 vote. But the crumb is the kind of thing that gets 4-5 votes.

I really enjoyed this player-list. I love Sensfan's play-style. When he played along with my fake 1-shot Game-Solve claim, I knew if he was town we would have a fun game. Brie picked up this game really fast! Lots of newer players would have had a hard time moving off their early scum read on my slot. It's to Brie's credit that she was able to re-eval priors there.

I think this was my first game with Huntress, and it's probably fair to say our suspicions were mutual throughout the game. In the end we were on the right wagons together, and that's all that counts.

I'm sorry, you're right, you got me. I would not have fakeclaimed if I knew I was going to have to retract it. The hope was that in a jailkeeper setup I would never have to retract that claim (because BP would not get CC'd, and also the crumb would probably not lynch me with a JK flip).

I'm still not sold Rasko can survive two lynches with the weird fakeclaim hijinks. I could be out of touch, but I still think it works as a Town gambit because your survival isn't important.

I've tried hard to keep the play-styles distinct, so that's good to hear. I'm finding it's more fun to play TTTT than Loopdan outside Newbie games, and Loopdan is a better experience for new players than TTTT, so I'm planning on keeping this account in Road to Rome and using TTTT for the other stuff.
