Status: GAME OVER, Town Wins!

Welcome to the city of Naples, Italy. For the past thousand years or so, everything was going pretty well, and everyone had been going about their (somewhat) normal business. (There was always the occasional war, government overthrow, or full-scale soccer riot, of course. But those are problems any normal town has to deal with.) Unfortunately for the residents of this fine town, though, these last few months have been a tough time. A short time ago, unbeknownst to the citizens of Naples, the Ronzoni Mafia set up their home base in their fair city and went on a killing spree. Most of those who were not killed by the mafia fled to the isle of Sicily, a place well known for its safety, wonderful anti-mafia programs, and hospitality to the people of mainland Italy. Only twelve now remain, and they have decided to rid themselves of the mafia scum once and for all by lynching one member of the town each day until the killings stop.

The Rules (mostly stolen from DP):

[1] Have fun and don't be a jerk.
[2] No communication outside the thread unless your role allows you to do so.
[3] Get your choices in before the deadlines. If you don't, I process a "no choice".
[4] No quoting my or others' emails/PM's.
[5] If you're dead YOU'RE DEAD. No more posting relevant information after that.
[6] Lynching will be done by regular majority. Special rules for deadlines are listed below.
[7] During the day, I may set a deadline. Once the minute of the deadline hits, the game goes into twilight and nothing relevant may be posted. If there was no majority in the votes, a lynch will occur if a player has at least half the votes cast so far. Otherwise, there will be a no lynch.
[8] Only votes in BOLD will be counted. Please clearly unvote if you want to change your vote.
[9] Do NOT edit or delete your posts! If you made a coding error, just post again.

By the way, I read somewhere that many people have come to the conclusion that the third person to jump on a bandwagon is mafia. But someone has to be the third one rigth? So I'll just go and sit in a corner and hope I didn't just start a bandwagon against myself.

Okay, lets see now, 6 to lynch, about halfway.

As soon as the game thread opened i was the first to click the reply button but before i managed to get a sentence together that was grammatically correct and looked up behaviour and participant in the dictionary, mlaker butted in and got first post.

I noticed mathcam was in this game as soon as signups began, and found it peculiar how this would be our third game together in a row.
So when the thread opened i put a vote before his name, tripple-checked the spelling of the message and spend the next three hours laughing at my own hilarity.

I saw no real difference between a joke vote and a random vote, both have no real purpose but to get discussion going.

Just for the record this is my first ever mafia game, and I've grown quite restless while waiting for day 1 to start, so since I don't want to have waited just so I can sit back and never post, and I obviously don't have anything remotely interesting to share with the rest of you, I'll just post whatever I feel like at the moment untill we get a discussion started. I hope you understand how I'm feeling. Then again maybe I should shut up for a while, because It would be extremely annoying to get lynched day 1 in my first mafia game because I talked too much.
