Since this is Nightless, the game will not have a deadline, unless if it drags incessantly, then I may instate some kind of ultimatum up to my discretion involving "the town loses if you don't hurry up and lynch someone before this date." But it won't come to that if you guys aren't ridiculous about stalling the game.
9. If you don't post for 72 hours, you will be prodded. Then you must post in the next 48 hours or you will be replaced. If you return before I can find a replacement, then you may stay in the game. If a replacement has already snatched your spot, then you're out.
10. If you don't want me to prod you, then claim

, and Rule #9 won't apply to you for as long as you're V/LA. If you're V/LA for a very long time, then you might get replaced, up to my discretion.

This is an Open Game. The following Roles are in the game:

You're a Jester.

You're going to die in 2 days by some terrible disease. All you want to do is die before then in some fun way. So you're going to pretend to be part of the Mafia to get the town to lynch you. That's fun.

If you are lynched in the first 2 game Days, then you win.

Also, you're strapped to a bomb that will somehow activate if you're lynched, killing all the other players. Because... you know, why not? You know you're dead; why do you care about the others?

If you do not succeed in your goal, then you will die quietly at the end of Day 2, and the game will continue between the town and the Mafia.

You're a member of the Mafia and you are in love with XXXX.

All you want to do is live a quiet peaceful life with your lover, but unfortunately, there are other people in the town that refuse to move out. And they suck. They need to die so you can be alone with your lover. Nothing wrong with that, right? Everything is right in the name of love.

Oh, yeah, and one of the other players is a Jester that wants to get lynched. You hate him, too, so you don't want to give him that satisfaction. Also, he's attached to a bomb that will explode and kill you and everyone else, and that's no fun. All you can do with the Jester is not lynch him for the first 2 game Days, then he'll die on his own.

The two of you are also Lovers with a suicide pact. If either one of you gets lynched, then the other one of you will commit suicide. You both need to survive to win this game. Oh, and even though you're in love, you have no QuickTopic or any means of private communication, because I'm mean like that. Seriously, don't talk to each other.

You win when the two of you make up 50% of the town, and the Jester has failed his win condition.

You're a Townie.

Yeah, you're all noble and stuff. Good for you. And there are threats to your town and you need to eliminate them.

The first is a common threat, the Mafia. Lynch one and the other will die, because they're madly in love and they can't bear to be apart. If it gets to the point that they make up 50% of the town, you will be unable to lynch them and they will win.

The second threat is the Jester. He's strapped to a bomb and he will explode and kill everyone if he is lynched in the first 2 game Days. If you make it past Day 2 without lynching him, he'll die on his own and not kill anybody. So whatever you do, don't lynch him.

You win when the Jester has failed his win condition and the Mafia has been lynched.

BBMolla seemed to want to propose no lynching and letting scum shoot for the jester. Zabriel came back with a response that looked like trying to look like jester. Scum want to look like jester because we won't lynch someone if we think they are the jester.

Hm. Maybe I'm wrong, but I initially stopped one step behind you on the WIFOM, Kmd - that is, I thought Zab actually looked like a Jester, although I didn't give much consideration to the actual content of [silly proposition made by BBMolla] relative to that specific response, soooo.

Re what Zab said: Lynching Town until Day 3 means 3:2 scum Lovers. That's one shot to get it right and every Townie has to vote right. That's much harder than typical Lovers Nightless - though it's possible two Days worth of information would improve things a little bit. But that's just going to get things more confusing - if we try to lynch Town, Jester will ape Town and scum will ape Jester - and Town will effectively ape Jester-type. If we try to lynch scum, scum will ape Town (or at extremity ape Jester) and Jester will ape scum aping Town (or at extremity ape scum aping Jester) and Town will be themselves. I can't help but think that the second set here will be more manageable for the Town overall.

Hm, still feeling somewhat Jester on Zab.

Hmm. Looking back at that post, it still looks like fake jester-bragging rather than genuine jester-bragging. I also have a real jester read on a player, but I'm trying to decide if it's in town's best interest to go into that or not. Point is, I don't think zabriel is jester.

The good news is we have 5 town players and I have 3 town reads plus myself which means my scum/jester pool is down to four players.
