Vi Woofing heeled. The flouresent lights above it blinked and hummed in the air. There were vets in the building with wite walls. Vi didn't see them, but had expected them now for dog years (so months). Its warnings to Loving Master were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
Vi was a adventure puppy for fourteen fortnights. When Vi was young it watched the lite switch and Vi said to Master "I want to lick the outlet, arf rarf!"
Master said "No! You will be SENT TO VET."
There was a time when Vi believed Maser. Then as it got oldered (er just forgot) it stopped. But now in the lit whit-walled room of the faraway building Vi knew there were vets.
"This is your freind" the Master cheerfully said. "You must lick the vet's hand!"
So Vi gotted its doggy smile and lapped on the glove.
"WE MUST CHECK YOU" said the vets
"I will take its temperture" said the doctorvet and he brought out the thermometer. Vi snarld at him and tried to bite him up. But then the hand pushed and Vi was trapped and unable to move.
"No! I must resist the vets" Vi barked
The Master said "No, Vi. You are the vets"
And then Vi was a forum moderator.

General Rules:

One of Vi's rulesets found in a dustbin. Think of it as a blue light special - almost as good, and a lot cheaper.

Pregame:

You will be given a Role PM. Confirm by sending back your role name, please. Make sure you do not have any questions about your role before confirming.

Day:

The Day functions as normal. You may lynch with a majority of the votes. Lynching is compulsive, so at deadline the player with a plurality will be lynched - in the event of a tie, the player who reached the highest number of votes first; in the event of that tying, a random player.

Twilight:

There is nothing special about Twilight in this game. But Breaking Dawn, Part 2 is in theaters if you want to see some unrealistic physics action.

Night:

Nights last for 48 hours. If you did not post in the 24 hours before the end of the previous Day, I will prod you to make sure you are in the game.

Illegalities:

As a reminder, you are not allowed to:
*talk about this game outside the thread except where expressly permitted
*impersonate the mod and/or use the mod's formatting (bolded italicized

gray

)
*use cryptography, invisible text, or other ways of sending robustly hidden messages
*quote your Role PM, to include using specifics about its format or time stamp to your advantage
*edit/delete posts or speak after death sans "bah" posts
*post links to QuickTopics
*do other obviously underhanded things not listed here, including things you may not think are underhanded but others will probably disagree about

This ruleset is designed under the assumption that you know what is acceptable. If you aren't sure, ask. If you fall afoul of what is expected, that's your problem.

"Bah" posts:

You may only make a "bah" post within 25 posts of the announcement of your death, and it may only contain the letter 'f', no spaces. You may use as many 'f's as you like.

Hawt New Game Mechanic rules:

Open Setup.

You know precisely which roles are in this game, and how many of each there are.

role in this game.

2.

Rarefaction.

As soon as scum make up one third of the living players, the living player list will be split into three-player cells. Players may only vote for players in their cell. The Mafia wins if and when they are NOT lynched in EACH of the cells.
