A worried town has gathered at the town hall to discuss the recent rumors of mafia and other killers coming in, and seeking to take a heavy toll against the kind citizens. As the minutes pass, they grow even more worried as two of their own have not shown up yet. Finally, one man stands up and takes the podium.
"Good morning everyone, I think we all know why we're here, and right now we need all the information we can get. What has everyone heard about the evil presence entering our town? Raise your hand, and I'll call on you."
Every hand in the adutorium goes up. "You can just raise one of them, y'all. You, up front?"
"I heard that the mafia, when they are finished killing us, will procede to kill our possessions. I don't how it works, but I heard they can make them animate for a while, so they can kill them as well, and bury them along with our bodies."
"Thank you for sharing, what about you, ma'am?"
"I think the mafia are flouridating our water, so we become easier targets. And accept evolution."
"Right, what do you have to say, young man?"
"There's a mafia under my bed!"
"Ok, maybe we should focus on a plan now. I think we need to be rational here, and not just start lynching one person a day, hoping they're evil..."
"Hey, that's a great plan!"
"No, I said we shouldn't..."
All of a sudden, the doors to the hall burst open. A man rushes in and up the podium before crying, "I found a body by the river! A dead body by the river! And I poked it with this here stick, and he's still dead!"
"My goodness, that's terrible!"
"The poor man."
"Badabing, bada... uhm, oh, oh, the humanity!"
"Hey, let's all go poke the body!"
"Now calm down, sir, did you call the police? Or did you just keep poking it?"
"Well, I poked it for a while, and then I called the cops, but they weren't picking up! And I called, and I called, and they just weren't answering, so I figured I'd poke him a few more times, and then try again. But then I came here instead. Can't tell you why."
"This body, was it wearing a blue uniform, maybe had a copper badge by him?"
"Sure did!... Oh."
The entire town is at the scene in a few minutes. They turn the body over, and see that it is tehgood, a cop.
tehgood, cop, was killed last night.
Day has started with 11 alive. Six to lynch.
