Just out of curiosity and as a way to get discussion going, what do people expect from this game? It has an above average amount of new players, so common wisdom would suggest that there will be a slow posting rate, though I am uncharacteristicly optimistic that this one could be different. I think the new players thing could be the defining point of this game over others around it, for better or for worse.

I think having a lot of new players will be a good thing. It should mean less metagaming - which can be pretty confusing. I'm in a another game with lots of experienced players and it seems like there are two games: the actual game and the metagame. This game should be purer in a way.

Well, I am relatively new at mafiascum, but I expect to post often here if that is the flow of this game. However, it is hard to have any suspicions yet, but as the votes pile on that will take care of itself, I assume.

The week starts again....
I agree with wolfsbane about the Metagaming . I get very confussed.
As for the posting issue. I will try and post lots but it is hard to find time at the weekend.

Sometimes it's good to have new ppl. That's when new ppl are active and get exited about playing.
But then there are those games where new ppl disappear without a note and need to be replaced.

And I always prefer faster gaming.

Sorry DAS. But lol your vote. When I do random.org, I take the first number that pops up (unless, of course, it is me ) and vote for that person. I usually then check to make sure that there aren't any votes on that person. Stupid me didn't equate DAS with davidangelsummers. Not trying to bandwagon you or anything. Maybe random.org does have it in for you. Very interesting...
