Really, really rubs me the wrong way. Again, it's day one, and this was page 2. We start with random votes and knowing nothing at all about each other. The conversation's got to start somewhere and town's got to get scum talking so that they can be tripped up and discovered. Posts 23/25/28 really feel to me like squelching conversation.


Hiplop's posts 54/57 make me go, "Huh?" He misread the post he voted Elyse for but didn't unvote her? And I still want him to give an example of what's wrong with acryon's posts. I mean, I don't need an analysis, that'd just be silly at this point, but just an example would be nice.

Well, yes, because that's literally what was said.

Do you buy Espresso's argument that he was more or less "punishing" Boon for self-voting? It worries me that he did it without even telling us why he was voting Boon. He could've easily told us his motivations when he did it instead of after the fact, so it makes me more inclined to believe that Espresso was trying to get Boon lynched as his vote put him at L-1 unannouced. reinoe may have swooped in to take advantage of the voting that was going around quickly (Sal hadn't posted a vote count in over 2 pages). Another possibility is that Espresso may have thought he was throwing down a hammer, though I'm less convinced that's the case.

Everyone always reads me as scum anyways so I've pretty much stopped putting as much effort into these games as I used to, and that in turn has lead me to being scumread harder and more often. I usually try to give out those last ditch effort scumread posts when I know I'm going to get lynched, but I just don't give a fuck anymore because nobody ever fucking cares.

Right now in my mind I have a 95% assurance that I'm going to get lynched today, and I know there's really nothing I can do about it unless someone has a moment of clarity or claims cop and says they investigated me or some shit. I'd rather die than have a cop claim though.

To answer your question finally, I know I'm not that great at reading people (I could be much better if I put in the effort), and honestly most of it comes from my gut or honest reasonins that I don't feel the need to explain since the topic often gets discussed enough on it's own, and to contribute the same content would be parroting and would get me lynched even faster.
