Why would you make this guess at the time? I only saw the communist miller bit at Eddie asking about the role possibly being fascist, not communist. If those are only two (that I saw) and one was a side comment, although now confirmed-ish to exist, why make the connection?

I find that Early game, talking with others about the setup is a good way to break the ice, and to strt reading them. As to why I made the guess, its because I had only seen claims of Fascists and Communists, which both are political views, but ones that have negative connotations. So I made a guess that the factions names are related to eachother.

I have fun playing the game and learning to get better at it. The main thing I want to take away from this game is being able to handle large games. I also like how this game has a good mix of players I have and haven't played with before.

I'm not sure how it's decided. Post-game evaluation maybe?

Of course I'll help Town win. In this game I'm going to focus more on wagons and peoples' reasons for being on those wagons as my main scumhunting tool. 1)You seem town, But I haven't given you much attention at all so I can't be sure.
2)Awesome, cause he is awesome, but seriously, cause he has been very straight and if I am wrong in thinking he is town, he would likely end up lynching another scum team, if this is a multiball.

I dont think so. Maybe in some ways, but I think its slightly too early to tell. Once maybe 1/4 of the playerlist has flipped, I think we will then have a bit of an idea of what the scum and town are like this game.
I do, however, think it is very possible that there could be two roles that are the same, but have different wording, like you and Mollie last time, IIRC.

3) Hard to tell. If I could somehow tell the truth in Alchemist and assuming said 3rd party is a survivor type. It would be a tough call. Still, anybody else who is slightly scummy is a better lynch than a survivor. However, the survivor will side with the winning team in a heartbeat and that's a problem. It is also a problem endgame especially if you can't be sure if the survivor is telling the truth or not.

What worries me is the win con: Have fun. Its not to survive, not to kill a specific person, but to have fun. What do you think that might entail?

So, at the Eystott questions that I will not quote because laziness:

1. I'm kinda ambivalent towards you. I wouldn't jump on a wagon on you, but you're just scumhunting with a lot of questions, and I don't really see content-content to read you on. I'm not one to talk, but that's still how I see it. I haven't seen anything that points specifically to being scum, but my gut says that you are trying to look active and scumhunt, but trying to not reveal anything about yourself. So, null/ambivalent. Probably slightly on the town side, though.
   
2. I'd probably kingmake Awesome. They're putting out content, and I really like their play. I may not agree with some of their reads, but- to be completely honest- my reads are prolly shit. Awesome looks to me to be mostly level-headed, and won't just use their power as king rashly.
   
3. I'd dayvig FIN3. Her/their posts haven't been helpful in reading or particularly scumhunting-y, and we'd probably have a dead scum on our hands. If I didn't have to decide on my own, though, I could ask the town to use it as a second lynch. However, not sure the theory behind this or anything. Plus it would mean claiming.
   
4. If I was kingmade, then I'd still go along with the town. I will admit that I am just a crappy player as town, with reading and all. If I had to lynch, because this
   is
   a hypothetical question that I must answer, I would probably lynch Toon, because that's what town wants. Reasons for him being scum flew over my head at some point, but I'd be way more confident lynching Toon than FIN3.

I'm liking both guilles and Jackels responses to my questions.

I'm getting less impressed with eyestott as time goes on. His posts feel more and more like fake scumhunting as time goes on.

While i cant comment on why my hunting looks fake, I can say that my drop in activity is justified. I'm about to start my first real game as a GM off-site, but ive been trying to get signups, as I need one more person in the next 12 hours or ill miss the deadline. Ive also been at EOD in a few games, so i've been busy. Also, conventional scumhunting is not my strong point. I mainly use setup related hunting, such as claims, Night Action analysis, and the like. Ive been trying my best with conventional, but I become more useful as we have more role related evidence to go on.

Now, if anyone wants to ask me stuff, go ahead. I have other games to get to, though.
I need to take another look with shos, but what I dont get is this: Shos votes me for pressure, but it isnt apparent. Why then, does muffin vote me?

eyestott: I (Zar) originally had eyestott leaning town. The town lean was mostly based on the exchange with Titus and the nitpickyness on the claim. SnowStorm does not have a read on him, but pointed out to me that 1202 was weird for someone a large game. So this one is mostly my thoughts as well. I don't suspect him for speculating setup? I think that's more of a personality tell than anything. I do have some red flags on him though, the line of posts #369, 1271, and 1494 is something that rubs me wrong; mostly I think the tendency to go "I'm around, anyone wants to ask me questions?" is a copout to not have to do independent contribution and appear "there"; I just can't make whether that's something eyestott would do In D1 because he's someone that has a hard time entering the game early. So null now?

Its something I do in most games. People i've played with should be able to vouch for me. Btw, your links arent working.

1: Townread would probably be either Awesome or Bulbazak. Scumread: I forgot that I'm still voting klingon. UNVOTE: klingon Probably FIN3. Useless, lurking, yeah. I'm not great at Day 1's, so i dont really have strong opinions till around day 3 (which is generally when massclaim occurs). Nevertheless, I will VOTE: FIN3.
2: Shos' wagon looks opportunistic. If its a multiball, then i think theres a good chance of an above average amount of scum on his wagon. However, with the neighborhood, i'm only comfortable townreading Bulba. I could see shos or muffin or FIN3 being scum pretty easily.
I'm not convinced on the case against you. Its entirely possible that came from a town's mindset. I'm new to larges too, and its harder to keep track of everyone.
As for the TF wagon, i'm not sure. I'll answer that question once we get an updated extended votecount.
3: Not sure if youre asking what vig-me would do or what antitown-me would do, so ill answer both. Vig me would likely kill FIN3, if i was a scum with an extra kill, id likely kill either Bulba (so he stops defending the neighbors and lynches are more likely to happen in that pool) or Titus. I would also maybe kill one of the miller claims or eddie, as (unless i already had this information as scum) I would find out whether there is a communist group/ whether fascists are an anti-town faction. I obviously wouldnt do that if i already knew the answer.
4: Favourite part was getting my role. No hints though. Scum, no info from me about just how powerful my role is. Feel free to try killing me, though. WIFOM!

Originally I thought there were 9, 3 each in Communists, Fascists, and a third group. However, FIN3's antics changed my thinking, I now think there's 2 Scumteams and her as the Jester, so 7 total.

I'm not confident in either of them being scum. However, Bulba raised a good point about the wagons, and I think shos is more likely to be town. DGB made a good point about shos defending TF which points away from scum trying to survive.
