generic, until the mafia came in and most of the town left. But twelve of you remain to thwart the mafia's plans of total domination. Can you find the mafia and lynch them? Will your town ever be free of menace? Will I ever stop asking questions?

Rules

(stolen from numerous sources)
1. No outside conversation about this game unless your role permits it.
2. Don't quote your Role PM. Don't fake-quote it, either. Paraphrasing is fine.
3. Do not edit your posts.
4. To vote somebody, bold your vote, such as

vote: ChaosOmega

. You can also choose to

vote: No Lynch

. If you want to vote somebody else, you

must unvote first

. Otherwise, your new vote won't count. Vote counts will be edited into the top of each page.
5. During the day, a player will be lynched when he has more than 50% of the players alive voting for him. Once that amount has been reached, they're dead. No unvotes will save them. Players can post up until I post the lynch scene and the thread is locked.
6. Once it has been posted by me that you are dead, you are dead. Do not post any more,

not even a bah post.

7.

Every day will have a non-retractable deadline of 3 weeks.

If a majority is not reached in this time, no one will be lynched, and the game will go to night.
8. Nights will have a deadline of 4 days. If you have a night action and do not send one, you will do nothing. If that is what you want to do, you should tell me that so as to speed up the night.
9. If you're going to be gone for longer than a 72-hour period, you should post in-thread notifying people of this.
10. If 72 hours pass without a player posting or saying they will be absent, I will prod them if requested to do so in-thread by any other player.
11. If a player has been prodded 4 times, I will search for a replacement for them.
12. Dark blue is my color. Don't use it. Also, no small or invisible text.
13. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
14. Have fun.
15. If anyone breaks any of the aforementioned rules, I have complete jurisdiction over the actions that will be taken.

I can be a little long winded and sometimes keep info secret as town. These are a part of my playstyle and should be considered null-tells. Anyone else have preemptive playstyle warnings for the rest of us? Anyone have meta information to share about other players you've encountered before?

I agree - more or less. I only asked for you to explain further because you hinted at a reason without expanding upon it and I found myself curious.

BTW Mills, are you an IRC guy? You've been on the site since April, and this is your first game?

I have played Mafia elsewhere before but never on Mafiascum. I signed up earlier in the year so I could read some of the games and participate in the Discussion Forum.

for being the only other person I've seen in a game I was in.

My meta: I come from another site so my play-style and perspective differs greatly from what you guys will be used to. What I see as a scum tell might not be what you see as a scum tell. I also greatly analyze every move made as I see this as complicated game of chess instead of just a game of banter and coercion.

Baby Too Much Scum I believe it was called. I had to be replaced because I went into surgery. I did not play with him at the same time though. He replaced in later. I merely stated that I saw him in the game that I was once in. I went back and read it after I got out of the ICU.

You may be interested Mini 495 then, since both Spurg and I were town in that game.

I replaced in on D2 as vanilla. Spurg was there at the beginning as vanilla, died, and then replaced back in on the last day as a tracker.
