Summary of Files Needed to Learn and/or Play Scotland Yard

The rules.

The board, with current detective locations, submitted by Fishbulb.

A matrix (in Excel format) charting out all the possible intersections of the board, color-coded appropriately for different route types, created by Dourgrim.

Game 2 (6/6 players)

Moderator: Fishbulb

The players (name: tickets remaining)

Mr. X (Scalebane):

Please use this format for submitting moves (so I don't mistake detective discussion in the thread for movement, moves must be
bolded
):
<ticket type> to <##>
. For instance:
Taxi to 170
.

Once a move has been posted to the thread in that format, it is final and cannot be changed... so be sure of your intentions before you post a bolded move.

All players have confirmed... the above list has been modified to reflect roles and turn order. Good luck, all!

 Oh goody. Thank you for letting me start in the
middle of the map

You know, if you print the map out in landscape orientation and size it to the full 8.5" by 11" on a sheet of paper, it's not that hard to read.

Well, I suggest everyone get to an underground station on their 2nd move. I'm heading to #89.

Not sure if that was your move yet or not. No rush if you are still thinking, just wanted to make sure you as well as the other players know that no move has been made.

I agree. As it stands everyone but me can easily move to an underground station on their second move. Considering I'm only one move away from a station, the only way I can be at one after my second move is by using an underground ticket, which might not be a good idea since we only have four.

Actually, you can use a taxi to 140 and then bus to 163, which might be a good idea.

I'm having a bit of trouble reading the bus routes and I don't have the proper utiliteies to read the matrix yet, so I'm kinda confused.
Anyway, I happen to already be at an underground station. doesen't make much sense to move away and move back.

No it doesn't make much sense, but sadly, we can't just stay where we are.

Well I think we've done enough strategizing. Why don't you just move, Shadyforce?

I was hoping to at least get everyone to post their thoughts before we go, but I guess I'll just move:

I'll take a
