- Flip the lever down to see if the water begins rushing again.
- Whether it rushes again or not, flip it back to up.
- Close the cupboard (I'm not a barbarian!)
- Pace the perimeter of the room to search for anything else that draws my attention.

The water starts rushing again.
The strobe light does NOT turn on

You find something of interest behind the OFF generator. A hidden USB stick.

You have a USB stick in your possession. No use for it in here though

Is the anything on the generator control panel that looks like it would require the spanner to manipulate?

Hmm...
In that case I’d better leave it for someone who knows better.
Return the spanner to the cupboard and shut the cupboard.

An alarm goes off in the room. You notice for the first time that there is a speaker on the ceiling, right next to a curved mirror. It allows you to see the entirety of the room at a glance. The speaker is Beeping. It beeps five times and then stops again. THe strobe light flicks on, and off again. THere is no smell of gas, but you have no idea what occurred.

An electronic voice speaks: "Attention all staff - this is an automated warning - security staff to attend bathrooms due to ongoing vandalism. Bzzzt"

Well in that case, might as well...
Check the mirror for anything I might have missed and search the ceiling for anything else of interest

It shows you, staring at yourself and your surrounds.
There is a CCTV camera in the corner, unobtrusive, but clearly on.

Hmm...
That implies that other rooms have cameras also. But I can't imagine anyone has accessed the security area yet.

Is the "loose pipe" where I stuffed the mop head?
When I removed the gas pipe before, was I able to tell which direction the gas was flowing?

Will everyone who comes to this room in the future see this map (e.g. they will all immediately know the mop handle is hidden under the stairs?)

Yes

I guess: It would have been coming from South (bottom of map)

No, they will not see this map. They will see one relevant to what they find and do.

Is it loose BECAUSE I removed it, or did I prefer to remove that piece because it was loose??
Is it so loose that others would be able to remove it without a wrench?
Can I tighten it back up?

The intention was for the mophead to be upstream... Depending on the answers above, I would like (as much as possible) to move it to a point before the valves such that it would be difficult to identify any tampering.

In that case, can we move the loose pipe (and mop) to the other end of the map with little fanfare? :-) I want to block ALL the outlets, not just the last one.

The pipes are now blocked and there is no gas flow possible regardless of the valves.
