Anyone here play Robo Rally?

There are a couple changes (to avoid litigation), but essentially, it's Robo Rally. Let me know if you sign up!

Also, if you have a favorite bot, post that, too. To see the list of bots, click Create Game on the left side bar in My Room. Just give me the number (1-25; e.g. I use bot 16, the big green one in the left column). If not, I will just grab a random one.

Keep in mind, you can only have a maximum of 10 games running. Make sure you have a free spot before signing up.

Yep, you can even click on the game title to see what ship it is. Once we have enough people addicted to be running more games, that will come in especially handy, but at this point I am guessing you bots will join in no matter what ship I plan to put up.

So, Macros, MeMe, Norinel, and Someone? Any of you want to give it a shot? I probably won't wait long to start the next one since we are about to finish the last one (should've been over two hands ago, though ).

Hehe... I understand. Several in our regular gaming group have problems with that. We always have to go over that part again when we bring out Robo Rally after a long break.

However, it couldn't hurt to give it a try. The ship I picked doesn't even have turning t-beams. I mean, as long as you have time to play, what's the worst that could happen?

What do you mean? It's either Arena or Inspections. Or did you have a specific ship in mind?

Well, I've seen ones in the game room which are inspection style. The catch is, beams continuely pull you around. That's what I was thinking about. Example: RRS Racetrack

Ah, the ones you've seen recently were Yxklyx's creation. It's still experimental so we can't use those. In my opinion, they don't work too well, anyway. He has it so it can be nearly impossible to catch up to the lead, which is frustrating and boring to the bots in the back. Those will never make it as real ships.

RRS Racetrack is a good one. However, since it works best without IP damage the games can go pretty fast. Doesn't mean we can't play it, though.

Really? Are you sure you aren't thinking of the other racetrack, the one we played a few days ago? Check out the link to the ship above. I believe you will find it is a different ship.

Totem? Did you see that last post? RRS RaceTrack is different from Yxklyx's Prototype Racetrack. To avoid confusion, he has changed it to RRS Monaco. You still don't want in for RRS RaceTrack?
