I take 50 as the average human weight. I think while the graph from 0 to 100 might be logarithmic, around the middle 20 it's probably more linear since they're basing around their own weight.

im not sure what be the benchmark 50. human weight maybe? which is like 55kg avg.

Hmm, I thought 40's a good guess, so I'm not sure where to go, actually. My gut kinda says lower because it's quite easy to imagine things that are louder than conversations, but not so much for quieter things.
The picture even says that 60 dB is moderate to quiet, so it's probably closer to the quiet end.

100 is Loud, and 60 dB is on the quieter side, so talking would be ≥60 (not scaling this to 1-100). Why would 60dB being moderate mean "talking" is quieter - the opposite, no?

My common sense is this should be around dead center (again). I'm more inclined towards the right but 43 is a good guess.
