I guess we're doing introductions now? Hey guys! During the long wait for this game to begin, I joined three other games, all of which have ended day one with a scum lynch! (one of those lynches was me ) And I hope to maintain that record, so let's have some fun!

I'm not sure what you find so suspicious about this, it seems like a newbie throwing out his first RVS vote with confidence.

If anything I'd say that since he said "if you want me to change my vote, it's up to you to convince me you aren't scum"

Since RVS votes aren't meant to be solid scum accusations, and throwing out a solid scum accusation from the start is, in itself, very scummy.

But he's a total newb, so it's easy to see his intentions are clear, and that he's explaining what an RVS vote is to somebody who may or may not already know, just so they don't freak out. Seemed like a nice gesture to me.

He's doing his job as an IC and trying to get you guys in the proper tone of the game.

Less than ten posts later, Espresso says that we are "stuck on one point", without having offered any other points we might want to pursue.
I would vote Espresso, but his actions are only scummy based on an assumed pairing between him and GM, and I'm not comfortable with making that assumption at this point.

GM's rhyming is clever but not helpful. I'm coming to expect no help from her, though.

I'm pretty sure there is already quite a bit of suspicion on GM so that was not my intention with the post as much as simply to say that I agree with the suspicion started by others so that others could know where I stand on it.

I thought it made more sense to discuss other suspicions instead of just sitting around and saying "I'm waiting for GM to post".

It seems to me like everybody's still on him because of that one time he "felt scummy" to them, and they don't just want to throw that read away.

Along with the that, much of what I've been seeing as far as town reads go is "X is town" where there is no backing behind it aside from the fact that the person has been actively contributing and scumhunting. I question as to why you would place such a trust within those people. As a town member you should always be suspicious of everybody, and especially of those who have won your trust. That being said, you may still choose to follow those you trust, just watch your back.

All this said, I went back through espresso's posts, and I agree that he's not really offered any real reasonings for anything over the course of the game, and, while I still have an FOS on nuff, Mr. Coffee is looking more and more scummy.

We're nearing the deadline, and a NL is bad bad bad. I don't think nuff will get enough votes to be lynched before the end of the day, so I'll go with.
