Sharp Note makes a lot of sense and seems fairly obvious to me tbf
His name is Bell so the musical Sharp Note is in reference to that
And he has a sharp sense of wit and sarcasm as seen in unwnd's original post
But the thought exercise has been amazing AND it confirms obtusebear didn't read the casewall lmao.
Midwaybear was asking questions about a fake claim I had already rescinded and clarified several pages ago, with the past few pages being nothing but discussions of the repercussions of said revelations, while also claiming to be current.
The nickname has since caught on, spreading to a bunch of different players as their way of referencing him. Midway himself embraced it around here:
In general, Midway is the mafia equivalent to somebody who watches a funny movie and then right around the credits starts laughing uncontrollably because he got the joke from the opening scene finally and can't help himself but tell everyone in the room how it worked. And we wuv him for it.

It's actually a reference to his love of the Saw franchise.
ngl, when I saw the nom I thought it might be a decent choice for Cakez.
Just saw this (pun not intended)
I don't think this fits me too well. I mean I ran that Saw game but it's not like a big part of my personality or posting on MS

How many people have you trapped in a room where they have to solve puzzles within a certain time limit or die?
Not only is he the worthiest guy I can think of for a portal reference title (I do not support those lightly) every time I end up in one of his mod PTs (whether as a spectator or for other nefarious purposes) I hear the MS version of the Portal song at the end of the first game (This was a triumph, I'm making a note here; HUGE SUCCESS etc. Rest of lyrics on request). He approaches setup design with the same passion that GlaDOS has for scientific research and his games are barely full when he starts thinking of the next one. He also likes to subvert player expectations in his games (Tenet, SAW) which is perfect for the Is A Lie moniker.
Just my two cents.
I wasn't sold, but then I read this and now I like it.
But is Cakez old enough to have played the original portal? Not to make anyone feel old but I think he was like 6 when it came out lol.

Nom Almost50 for Monkey Business
This was suggested by Gamma Emerald. Almost50 is a longtime player on site known for bringing chaotic, funny and often bizarre energy to games. He also has had a monkey avatar for a considerable amount of time.
