My issues have been:
Python - was trying to be involved and got shut out and scumread, which was infuriating. But the main thing I wanted was to not be shut out.
Yess - he tried to bandwagon me in a past game and I got a similar vibe.
RCE - I didn’t like how cagey he felt. This is the biggest refutation of your claim that I’m not fine with people scumreading me, because once he clarified his stance I was cool.

I think there's a scum or two in yess/RCE/furt. Yes I know they all SR me, but it's not JUST omgus. I'll explain:

yess is openwolfing, coasting, and not solving at all. I have no idea why anyone is TRing them beyond mindmelding on their SR on me, which is a very easy read to make. Also their tone is all wrong.

furtive posts reads and when asks about them refuses to elaborate. Also his reads sound like there's not that much thought behind them. When I compare this with the amount of thought that went into his reads in Love Child (a town game of his), it's like night and day. I feel like his scum game includes giving easy reads and being unhelpful, which is what he's doing here IMO.

RCE had a post which pinged me as possible pocket of yess in a town!yess world, namely the post saying "I was scumreading yess until I mind melded on dragon being scum", except that is a really easy / shallow read and you shouldn't be mind melding about it (I'm specifically referring to scumreading my 40, which is like, yeah). Then he makes a vote on me in a way which I actually thought was towny, but then proceeds to lurk and not actually try to push me at all, which reads like coasting scum.

But anyway the point is I did look at her town games and apparently Ari is not ALWAYS a tryhard townie, there's also a laid back version of town!Ari that wants to be carried (for example in the game "The Coalition, Again"). So this makes the entire meta scumread on her invalid tbh.

I'm overstating about 1-3 of them.

The rest of the reads I get from playing a lot and learning from my mistakes (but also from the times I read people correctly).

For instance, on Meuh, I incorrectly scumread her in our first game together. Then now I know that certain behaviors of hers aren't scum indicative. Then in our second game together I correctly TR'd her, and now I am more confident on the tells I used that game being correct town tells.
