I'll read through it again when I'm a bit clearer in the head, but I agree that Mason-hunting and association-hunting should be avoided completely. Not sure how I feel about verydark lynch, I think I give a slight town lean. I'm liking Mathditto, but that's about the extent of what I got from that.

I'm liking LUV, MathDitto, dave and Gamma, they all seem town-motivated and actually interesting in finding scum.

Not sure what I feel about Pop and verydark, they both have townish actions but they both seem distant in actually trying to discover scum in this game.

Pretty much everyone else left no notable impression on me so far.

i'm pretty into PoE. everyone else in my D1 lynchpool had done townier things so my general goal is to not vote town and pray for the best

I'm uncomfortable with this explanation in light of your Post 161, listing GL, Sando, or Bujaber as POE scumbuddies, but then shouting down Sando in Post 348 for having the audacity to think your 161 was suggesting you'd be happy with a Sando lynch. By implication, you weren't advocating for either of the other two POE scumbuddies' lynches either.

So: I agreed with your Post 348 stating that your 161's POE scumbuddy list (GL, Sando, BuJaber) was not advocating a lynch out of the POE trio. But then in 360 you switch to a vote out of the POE trio to give verydark some breathing room. And your vote just happens to land on a scum who had only mild pressure (GL vote). And then your vote just sort of lingered on BuJaber, sort of like a buddy who didn't know when to unvote.

Which games are you talking about lol? Almost all games I have the same pattern. Barely talk day 1, get called out, suddenly begin talking heaps near the end and get killed. If I could defend myself here, I have zero idea why the hell scum killed pops. The only reason I would've done that as scum is if my partner forced me to. I barely interacted with them, and they seemed to be scum read by a few people. I would've killed someone like Math or Guilty Lion who were experienced and overall town read, and could've been masons at that point too.

But I'm fine with the order going Gamma > Me. Although I'd prefer if Gamma is town to get a chance to defend myself day 3, if she is scum then we really have almost won the game anyway.

I feel like you're reading too much into me. Not as in, I'm upset you're looking at players or anything, more that I think you overestimate my abilities to plan ideas and what to do.

I didn't know what "WK-ing" was and the idea of it. I sheep my strongest town read because the only time I didn't, I made a mason reveal. And I'll be honest, I'm definitely way too survivalistic, I don't even know why. But I apologise.

However, I may bring up a counter point against me being scum:

A) I never would've killed pops Night 1 unless my partner forced me to.
B) All these moves that you're calling me out for (Which are indeed scummy) are things I do as town. I was called out for being survivalistic in my first game, I've listened when people said they had suspicion on me for a reason, and immediately 'solved' that in all my games so far.
C) This is more of a personal gripe, but saying "You're incapable of producing quality nuanced content as scum" disregards the fact you haven't actually seen me being scum. The best I've done is call out the scum team once, but I've consistently been a generally useless town member.

I don't want to lynch anyone here to be honest, I just don't see any scum signs. I'm going for GC but that's because Math has made it clear he wants me or him. And honestly, I would be fine to be lynched here to help narrow the scum pool if not for the fact I really wanted to be a mason and I'm still kinda hoping I'll be one. That's pretty much the only reason I joined the game lol, the mason just seems like a great role, where I don't have to worry about acting not suspicious and know other townies.

We aren't lynching off of dave wagon, GL is a very unlikely hard bus, GC is annoyingly a good player so he could literally say "I'm mafia" seriously and I'd still probably think he's town. And while I still think brass is suspicious I just don't see him as scum, especially knowing his playing as both scum and town. I'm literally out of possible lynches.

I don't think they're saying that's a townish thing to do, but it means I'm an easier target because if someone is suspicious of me, I just accept it. I almost always agree with the reasons that players give for me being suspicious, and in the rare case I don't I'll mention it. If someone targeted you or GL, you'd retaliate and shine a light on the player.

Okay, so most of my points now should be one of the following. Why I'm town; and why ank is scum.

Why I'm Town

1. Why would I kill pops? I knew nothing about her or her play, and she certainly didn't seem like a strong town player. Not to mention, people were actually suspicious of her! Why would you kill someone that could be a mislynch in the future?
2. Why would I kill Kmd? As scum, I am overly pedantic and overly panic. I consider every option and spend ages thinking about the perfect kill, and Kmd would have easily not been it. I would have killed SS then, a person that had no people found suspicious and was much more likely to be town.
3. Why would I kill Mathdino? Like, seriously? In what world would I benefit from killing MathDino ever?!?
4. Brass tried to lynch me for 2 consecutive day periods. Instead of going for GC a little, or maybe even suggesting Ank as scum he went from me. And I also went for him, and lynched him with no "Maybe not?" at all.

tbh this situation actually really sucks for you if you're town, I am going to read you and mylo and solve and stuff
Like I actually am going to put in the work and effort to try during F3

but one of my biggest concerns is I don't think Mylo shoots Mathdino and creates this F3, that's just way too risky for him.
I've said throughout most of the game that I TR you and would have probably thrown the game over that read, and I think its makes way more sense for you to shoot Mathdino here.

Well... Here's the thing: I wouldn't take you + Math into 5p in the first place. Math was never townreading me for my slot, which would be dangerous, but you are also the most likely to catch me in general because you have more game experience with me than anyone else in the playerlist. I would've killed you far before now and taken SS or Kmd into LyLo depending on what their reads are before that.

Essentially, I'm not a very good scum, but I plan my kills very well to serve whatever agenda I have in mind. I don't see what agenda I would have that would have every kill after I replaced in, especially with a brass-partner.

The thing is, MathDino was hard town reading you, even if it was simply because of NSG. And Alisae barely came in at the last moment before F5, but I really don't think that you'd care between SS and Alisae for the kill.

And the agenda is pretty simple from after night 1. You killed a mason, then killed the worst of one of three options (Which may or may not have been on purpose so brass could claim it was a sus kill), then killed a confirmed mason and killed a virtually confirmed townie. Your agenda has been killing non-lynchable players.

You said roles don't matter to you, so I provided an example of what that meant. Instead of killing a helpful, town confirmed PR who town reads you, you'd go for a possible mislynch vanilla townie if they knew your game somewhat?

Well yeah, PRs that are townreading you are probably not going to screw you over with them.

On the other hand, people who know how my scum and town play differ are much more liable to suddenly realize I'm scum at any random point.

But wouldn't that bring so much more attention to you? Killing people who know your play well instead of PR's?

Town actually did it, good job guys! This game was certainly a weird one lol, but we still just pulled through.

Still, Ank played a very convincing game, and by all respects probably should've won this considering my defence was virtually nothing here lol.

Good game guys, this was a great step into the open games! I had a bunch of fun in this one, even though I was close to being lynched for five days in a row lol.

I really felt like everyone aside from me played a solid game here lol, both town and scum wise. Ank/Lil/NSG were not suspected until the last possible moment and Brass did a good game too.
