Mod - if a party is chosen randomly by you, will it be announced in the thread?
Also you should all HEAL: Bob - it's in the rules after all!
Titus, I'm interested in if you can get the minesweeper approach to work. I couldnt. On that basis, I think early on it would be best for us to vote for strong town reads to be sequestered and later on, and especially when there is just one scum left, we can use it like a second lynch, to hopefully force scum to no kill or be outed.-

Why? It would be a town win if we happened to create a party of five all town.In post 55, Yumeko Jabami wrote:I think any plan that involves trying to send townie people in is flawed.-

So explain why you think having a small group there with the option of switching things around later so that group outside the party is a good plan?In post 90, Yumeko Jabami wrote:Don't like Uncle Bob in post 80... why does my plan being unhelpful even mean I get voted? I don't like the reasoning, or lack of connections between voting for scum and voting because you disagree (it seems scummy)
We don't have to nail it down today. In post 90, Yumeko Jabami wrote:If we know 5 town right now, we don't need the party mechanic to win anyway - that's a flawed argument. We don't need to win twice as hard, we need to not lose momentum twice as hard by both being wrong on the lynch and thereby being wrong on who is town in the party
Seriously though, if you can name 5 town right now, and everyone agrees, and they're all town.... we win without the party mechanic. Needless to say that's easier said than done-

Which fallacy? In post 110, Fuscosco wrote:
subjective and a common fallacy. eg though, its understandable. id lean towards not making any parties for the early game. but again, its subjective. In post 107, Uncle Bob wrote:I think putting active people in the party is a reasonable idea - I'd lean toward active and seeming townie too.-

That's not what I was getting at, more that it would create a division in the town, between active players - more likely scum targets for a nightkill, and the inactive players, then if an active player is killed, we get confirmation that not all the active player are town, and by keeping the group smaller, we isolate scum more quickly. In post 114, Fuscosco wrote:activity=alignment-

How are you not voting RP at this point? In post 560, Kirari Momobami wrote:I'm assuming you're going to say you're paranoid about me because Auro just said he's paranoid about me and right now you're parroting things Auro has said. Well, I've played mafia before, but not online. In post 1014, Fuscosco wrote:

It creates a game state that I think is probably more favourable for the town, and he totally didn't need to do it.In post 1055, Yumeko Jabami wrote:Why is injecting energy into the game a reason not to lynch someone?
Is this serious - I mean scum Mary would just lie.In post 1055, Yumeko Jabami wrote:I mean, she might not. We can wait to see what she says. I think it's notable that she's due for a prod now - possibly because she thought the game moved into the night phase and didn't feel any urgency in logging back on to do anything. That's just a theory though - Isn't it better to ask Mary than to ask me what I think Mary will do?
You will be stuck with me. I will attempt to sort people faster than any replacement. In post 1154, Inbred Lannisters wrote:I'll wait for Uncle Bob's replacement to read the game and give us their reads.
I know hell knight is gone, but I couldn't find a case in RedPanda's posts. Am I missing something?

Explain how your read "evolved"I want to lynch HK for this.
What about right after being asked to explain something? In post 1208, duppin wrote:I am not going to read into them wanting to be replaced.
I like the Lannister's argument that a Town-hydra-partner is unlikely to shame their hydra-partner, and I also think that it is something that frustrated scum would do.
I am a bit concerned that I asked Kiari a couple of questions and both were ignored - it gives me the sense that she's not trying to read me.-
