Food for thought: would Mafia vote on a day one lynch, when they run the risk of being killed by the D1 Vengeance?

I'm just going to cling to Newbie Syndrome as my excuse for not posting.

As for leads, in my eyes, too early to tell. I'm still trying to sort our grudge votes from real votes. Though, with more observation, that point may become moot.

If we direct the vengeful onto someone to venge kill, would the player being targeted really want to be a part of the majority lynch? Furthermore, would two town-branded-scum really cooperate with a majority which almost definitely contains scum in it? The logical answer would be yes on both counts, assuming they are town. No and Yes assuming they are scum. Though, we run the riskiest assumption of all: that the two players in question are playing logically.

Teapot voting Zymf left a bad taste in my mouth. The reason of "catching a newb" was excuse enough as to warrant the benefit of the doubt, though it was still strange. Those tactics aside, would such a post not be a way to attempt to block one line of discussion? Sounds fishy, considering we were discussing scum tactics. Other things I have to say on the matter have even less relevance so I will leave it there.

Now, talking strategy, I would be worried if the Mafia decide to kill day one, and even more worried if they do not use their kills at all. I'll leave it vaguely for now, and hope you all understand the implications here.

As for thoughts on other things, I would prefer see what others have to say before I chime in further, assuming nothing new comes up. My opinions on the matter feel weak to me, to say the least.

Though I dislike much of Tea's behavior, any attacks on it that I could make would likely appear hypocritical in nature. That being said, with such a long Day Phase, we really don't need to "wagon" anyone this early.

Can someone explain "RVS" to me please? Random Voting Stage?

Teapot looks pretty sp00ky to me. That much is clear. Anyway, Arch's long rant just there: quite the wall. Was it out of frustration towards the player, or what? Could be that, or a self-condemning quasi-bluff looking thing. *shrugs*

This is too much for my little Cow brain to handle all at once. I'm going to chew it some, and see what the cud tastes like.

At this point, it looks like ABR is almost asking to be lynched. I don't know the guy, so I wouldn't know if this is a regular thing or not. From a Town perspective, this could be done to easily control where the Venge kill will go by the Town player. From a Scum perspective, this could be done to bluff out of a lynch -- though in this situation, that would be illogical, as there is no reason for a town to want to be lynched, or act in such a manner at all.

What I'm getting at here is, ABR
shouldn't
be town, but anything is possible.

The secondary interaction mention above also deserves some looking into, though I'd rather see the response before drawing a conclusion.

Vote Teapot

After all of the talk between the two, I believe that ARB is a Townie who wants control of that night one venge kill, in order to kill who they thing is Scum. I'll be voting Tea instead, for all of the reasons mentioned previously, committing to this course of action, for now.

Our Venge kill only works day one. That would be the only limiting factor.

Nope.

*shrugs* Just a hunch. It could be either, but somehow I doubt it would be some kind of triple bluff.

My reasons are mirrored and aired by yours: that is, your scum read was enough to augment my scum read, making him the scummiest to me.
Though, ARB, I had drawn such a conclusion a far while ago.

Assuming you were refering to me.

Ew, a vote on me.
If anyone is wondering why I died for a bit there, well aa lot of sleeping was had. Anyway, on topic. With yesterday's situation resolved, I'm feeling Tea is kind of townier. Though, my thoughts there could just be biased by the Lynch's results, I'm not sure. Will look into that further.

As Sup goes, their posts leave me feeling awkward. Could just be the style they're in, but it is quite likely the weirdness of their placements.
