You are right, I have failed to accomplish anything. I just thought that it might be a good idea to hop on a wagon because I have observed many other players doing it. Guess it isn't a good idea to just imitate other people's play without understanding what the play is supposed to accomplish.

As for my experience, I am just back from a very long hiatus (I have no idea how long ago my third game before this game is, and this is my third game since the hiatus). I wouldn't consider myself to know what I am doing.

In this paragraph, I intended to write that I shall no longer be so transparent with my reads, but I have decided against that.

Moving forward, I shall place my vote on the scummiest player in my reads instead of some player that I am null on.

He was actually a low level goon / troll when I met him, and has grown a lot in a few short years. I respect his play now. FL could probably tell my alignment by Day 2 as well. Maybe Sakura Hana.

His reads seem manufacturers and his pushback on me was poor. More recently his vote on NPOM felt opportunistic to (but I accept i have bias as i dont want NPOM lynched) from what i could see there was momentum here for a while but it fell apart because of a meta read on him, which i think isnt a good reason to TR him as he has not only shown awareness of this has actually started using it himself as a defence. When you are using your own meta as a defence its invalid because you could have manipulated it

With stanley taken out of the chess board, I can deduce there's no more and no less than 1 scum in flair/freddy/iamusername. And then the final scum will be someone like clair, or somebody unexpected like FL. Needless to say, I'll have enough townreads by day 3 to accurately lynch the last scum.

My solve makes sense, FL arguing against it is probably because he's too lazy to essentially fight alone against me, FB and our allies.

Stanley scum makes perfect sense to anyone with an eye for scumhunting, FL's contention that he's town based on similar votes rings hollow because stanley barely has enough body of work in this game to really look at his votes, and FL isn't even caught up. So he comes in and tries to stop a speedwagon on his buddy to feign ignorance after a scum flip and play WIFOM games like "i dont hard defend scumbuddies anymore, now i just bus them new meta".

The reason it's a terrible lynch is that Stanley has nothing particularly scummy about him and will give no good info on a flip. A straight wagon from nothing to lynch is terrible to analyze in later phases.

Looker was probably vigged. I was probably protected, and we prevented the scum's nightkill. Midway was an inconsequential slot that had not participated in day 1 and that would have eventually become a ML or a deciding force in LYLO. Either way, the scum would not have NK'd him, leaving us, the town, to decide his fate, possibly late in the game when we needed a scum lynch. There is also a very true adage on mafiascum: when town lynches scum day 1, scum win the game.

So let's recap:

These two points by themselves are absolutely huge and the biggest reason why I say that scum lynches d1 are inherently anti-town in large games. It's very rare for a town to be able to ride that momentum unless they are able to turn that one lynch into a decisive advantage in of itself, which generally means the setup is either broken, town has a massive PR advantage after that one scum lynch, or town in general has the entire scumteam pegged. What generally happens is that town ends up not flipping another scum for multiple days and ending up losing that numbers advantage really easily since it's relatively simple for scum to readjust to losing that extra member compared to town leveraging that advantage to build a decisive one.

I do not speak to scum, it is pointless. FL had an incredibly strong townread on stanley with his very few posts, and then when I asked to wait for his claim, FL quickhammered him, after he quickhammered the cop as town in our previous game, putting a nail in the coffin for town and allowing my scum team to win. This is someone who thinks he can coast by as scum on "meta". I know FL's will to win overrides his false intention of staying consistent with "hammering everything at L-1", so I ask you to consider how it's more likely he considered himself compromised with so many players suspecting him and wanted to take down any town, even the least vocal among us, with him before he got the noose.

I replaced out because I didn't trust the game was legit as far as alts. Only reason. If I had continued to play I'm sure scum still would have won, they played well, and used the confusion to their advantage. I don't like to replace out and don't normally so I will count this as a loss on my record.
